I love the soundstage in these speakers literally two of them together is a really amazing system! But make sure to test these at high volume preferably in a pair ... basically mine worked on its own but when I paired it with another speaker and high volume it would just overhear and turn off :-( called Sonos and they diagnosed it and since I was within return period I brought it back and changed it out for another one , this one works great no problems! SET IT TO PLAY A RADIO STATION OR MEDITATION MUSIC EVERY MORNING TO WAKE UP! (Solar theory raise the sun album is amazing to wake up to) It’s incredible!!! Also these work With new Apple TVS wirelessly !! Just hold down the tv looking button on Apple TV remote and scroll to the airplay icon! Instant connection no cord required

Sonos make the best wifi speakers out there! No question about that. The people who can't afford sonos bash it, and complain about the sound quality. Well there is no doubt a hard wired speaker in the same price range would provide better sound, although I really don't want to fish cat 6 or audio wires all over my house. This is the best alternative out there and it looks nice!

Sonos makes the at home listening experience very easy and efficient while providing great sound quality. I happen to have their other products but recently splurged on this Play:5 to connect to my AudioTechnica turntable First the sound. This speaker has an array of 6 drivers that provide a great sound stage when listening to your music. I have heard that stereo pairing two of these Play:5s takes it to another level, but that will happen on day with more saving! I have a large open living area and this speaker completely fills out the entire space with fantastic sound that will always get compliments at parties The design of the speaker is modern, sleek, and very appealing in the home. Switching from streaming audio over to my line-in input for records is very easy with the autoplay feature I grew up in an audiophile home and this speaker is certainly a fantastic quality product and incredibly user friendly and easy to use. High recommended to anyone!

I've purchased two one's, fives a sub and sound bar. Overall the sound quality is good for home audio. The wireless functionality is what drove my initial purchase. I selected Sonos over Bose, that was a coin toss. We also have Amazon and Google speakers that can voice activate and perform some functions with Sonos. I've not been successful syncing them all to play simultaneously, although, that may be my attention span? I could go on, but, I think if you have the money to invest and grow a whole environment sound system, Sonos might be right for you? I guess the only thing that I consider a negative might be two things, cost per unit, and the fact that once you have one you are committed to buying more.

If you are looking for a speaker that sounds amazing look no further. Let's be honest there are plenty of speakers that sound amazing especially a pair of bookshelf speakers like Martin Logan would be amazing. However if you want amazing sound and simple plug and play with simple ease of use than this speaker is it. The 5 is just mind blowing. There's such a rich balance when listening to music. The bass is amazing! If you have a sonos one or move this blows every other speaker in the line up out the water. Just stop in BB and give it a listen. It's worth the money.

Bought this refurbished speaker because I wanted a Sonos speaker with the line-in option so I can plug a record player in. Works great and sounds awesome! The only issue I had was during setup. I could not get it to connect. Turns out since it was a refurb it was still setup on the previous owners system. Did a factory reset and it connected up easily. Very happy with my purchase!!!

We purchased a refurbished play 5 several years ago. We use it often and works great with great sound. I would do it again. We love our Sonos.

I love this wireless speaker. It connects well with my Alexa device and I can connect other devices to it, e.g., CD player, iPod, etc. etc., and play whatever I desire. This is a well made speaker and has some weight to it. It's craftmanship is superior to many other speakers like it on the market. I hightly recommend this speaker.

Purchased refurbished Play5 with a 4 year warranty. It’s my 12th Sonos product and fits in nicely with the family. They are expensive, but my house rocks. My goal is music in every room and outside. We enjoy BBQing and hanging out in the pool with music.

With the purchase of my second Play:5 I can now connect them as a stereo pair. The sound is insane. Fantastic clarity and stereo separation. The bass is booming! A single play:5 is great, but two are on a whole other level!

I wasn't sure what "refurbished" meant. Was it broken and fixed? Tried and returned? Damaged in some way? Anyway, I decided to take a chance and wasn't sure what I would get. Turns out, it came in a box looking brand new and as far as I could tell had to be close to brand new. It's performance is excellent. I was using one Play 5 already and added this one as a companion, and as you would expect, two speakers working together are better than one. The sound from them resonates throughout the first floor and sounds pretty great upstairs too. I'm very happy with it and saved $100 by buying it refurbished!

Purchased specifically for the ability to connect to a turntable. Works and sounds great for this purpose.

My brother has been bragging about these for years. Well I finally jumped in and absolutely love how full and dynamic the sound is! I bought three of the ONE's as well! Those sound incredible too! I used to be a Bose guy but ahhh, Hard to deny the SONOS ecosystem!

Impressive sound, but in stereo they really shine. Obviously for the price you can get better sound with a dedicated setup...but for the sound AND the convenience...I love these speakers. They look good too.

I am really liking this speaker. So far, I’m using it as a single speaker, but I plan to purchase another to pair up with it. Setup is a breeze with the app. I was adding it to an existing system.
