As subtle or as in your face as you want it. I paired it with the Playbase. There is a notable difference compared to the stand alone Playerbase. You can adjust the level to shake the windows or to clean up the sound.

Works great with the ARC. Nice deep, room shaking bass. Sound quality is amazing, but like other Sonos products they are expensive.

I first got the Sonos Arc. Awesome sound!! Weeks later, I got this Sonos Sub. Awesome bass!! It was a pair made in Heaven.

I purchased the Sonos Arc which sounded good. I added the Sonos Sub that now handles the bass making the Arc even more impressive.

This woofer brings it all together. It makes you not want to leave the house.
