So far so good, will keep an eye on cracking around the swivel (per online comments), but these work great at cancelling out background noise, and are fantastic in use, especially when flying.

These headphones are the best! I haven't been happier with a purchase than this one. Ever. I LOVE THEM! Noise canceling is exceptional, sound quality is better than Bose QC 35. A lot more features than Bose, too. I sleep with them, that's how much I love them! They sound EXCEPTIONAL! I'd recommend them to anyone and promise you'd love them wholeheartedly! Battery life is crazy good! I charge them once in 3 or 4 days, and I listen to them a few hours a day.

I am quite happy with this headset. I read multiple reviews online before making my purchase, and I have to agree that you get what you pay for! If I did have to nitpick a little, I would say that I have a tendency to touch the "touch pad" part of the right ear cup (I forget what it's actually called) when taking off the head set. Putting them back on and trying to un-pause something like a podcast after an accidental touch may cause the podcast to start from the beginning. Still, this is a great headset, and I highly recommend them!

Compared to Beats Studio and Bose QC 35, these are better in most dimensions: they don't drop out when outside, the touch controls are easy to use and glitch-free, and the sound quality is noticeably better than either Beats or Bose. I really wanted to keep these, but they have two fatal flaws: 1) they only connect to one device at a time; 2) there's no sidetone, so you can't hear yourself during calls. If you're only using one device at a time and you're not trying to use these for phone calls, they're great and I recommend them. If you make a lot of calls and/or you pair with multiple devices, go with the Bose.

I've been wanting a pair of Bluetooth earphones for a long time. I had thought to get a different brand, but salesperson said Sony was better than the ones I thought I wanted. I'm so glad I listened. The sound is wonderful. They are comfortable and they definitely block out any other sound, except when I put my hand on the right ear phone. Then I can hear if someone is trying to talk to me. These are a bit on the expensive side, but well worth the money.

Very comfortable. Great sound. Not too much bass. Great touch controls. Great noise cancelling and filtering.

The noise canceling works well but the high resolution sound needs to improve. When making or receiving a phone call the other side often complains of poor voice quality. The battery life works very well.

These headphones work as advertised. When listening to music they cancel out background noise and the volume control / skip / playback / mute by touching the right ear pad is pretty cool.

These headphones have not disappointed. The noise cancelling feature is excellent for air plane rides and for activities such as studying for students. I highly recommend this product.

I wanted to get a great pair of headphones with noise canceling and these were ideal. Really like the way you can momentarily suspend the noise cancelling by cupping the headphone.

Overall, the headphones deliver crystal clear sound and do a fine job at cancelling noise. In fact, I often have to remove my headphones to properly hear the person talking to me and I even experienced a mild jump scare when I saw someone pass by me without hearing their footsteps, leading me to believe that there was a ghost in the room. The only downside to these earphones, is that they cause my laptop to freeze whenever I disconnect them while using the Bluetooth feature. At least twice now, I have been in a call and had to switch from Bluetooth mode to wired (headphone jack) mode, causing my laptop to freeze and become unresponsive. I had to manually power off my laptop in both occasions.

I just bought these headphones and let me just say, they are fantastic. Comfortable and sleek. The sound quality is superb and the noise cancelling/ambient noise features are phenomenal. The cupping of the right ear to temporarily cancel noise cancelling is by far my favorite. It also comes with a nice carrying case and although they're wireless, there is also an aux cord that comes with the product. It's pricey, but definitely worth it!

Tried QC35 and Beats Studio before settling down on Sony. IMO better noise cancellation than QC35 and has better bass than QC35. Beats offers more sound, but noise cancellation is the worst of the three. I use this product when I travel (airplane). Nice features like swipe and tab and hand over the right-side to hear outside noise. In a normal outside environment, phone calls are clear to hear, but the other side hears more surrounding noise than conversation, maybe due to amplified microphone? Overall pleased with purchase and the feature this BT headphone offers.

Compare to my Bose, this seems to sound slightly better but it’s less comfortable than Bose when wearing it for long period of time, however considering it’s almost $100 less than Bose (after discount), I’m recommending this to everyone.

Great noise cancelling headphones. I wear them at work everyday to help block the noisy chatter in the office as well as on flights to drown out the noise of the engines.

These things are comfortable, they sound great, the features are really neat, they fold away compactly and they look great as well. Highly recommend to music enthusiasts.

I spent about 3 hours in the store trying on Sony 1000X and Bose QC35 trying to determine which one was better. In my unprofessional opinion, Sony sounded better. I also love all the noise canceling options that the Sony has. I ran the dish washer and washing machine at the same time with my Sony headphones on and I couldn't hear a thing. I do think Bose is a little more comfortable, but it wasn't enough to sway me.
