For me it's very convenient to listen to voices and control music playback and volume with the touch controls on the right earcup. Noise cancelling is impressive, though I don't notice much difference in effectiveness with the optimizer feature.

Fantastic sound. I use them at work as my work environment is chaotically loud and I can not concentrate with so much scattered noise. It nicely cancels out background noise so I can concentrate on the tasks at hand. Charge lasts a long time.

Bought these and used them on, what was suppose to be a 6 hour flight to California...it took 8.5!! Peace and quiet the whole way. Comfortable, even fell asleep with them on for a while. Plenty of battery for the whole trip and then some. Happy

These are great headphones. Noise cancelling technology has really advanced. With music I can barely hear anything except the music. The one touch to listen to sounds outside of the headphones works great. Bluetooth is easy for iPhone connection. The hardware jack works well. They are very comfortable for hours. My kids age 4,6,8 say they are comfortable too.

I bought these while they were on sale for cheaper than the Bose QuietComfort 35 headphones (the original reason for me entering the store). I read many reviews where these came highly recommended, even over the Bose headphone, but due to the price point I was hesitant. When in the store, the Sony pair was dead, so I could not fully test them but the sales representative was overly excited to talk about them, which further cemented my decision. I gave these a shot and let me say, as a frequent traveler and someone who thoroughly enjoys music I've never been happier. These are a must, especially for travelers as the noise cancellation is superb.

Been reluctant to get noise canceling headphones but I was leaving for vacation and wanted something for the plane ride. Quick connection to phone and long battery life. Most important the music sounds great. Very nice headphones

I flew on a plane and these headphones totally blocked all noise. Then just a light tap I could hear what was goin on around me. These headphones are also very comfortable and light. I simply love them and highly recommend them!

Excellent headphone with advanced interactive (touch) controls

I've been in love with these headphones every since an in store demo a few months ago. The price was a bit steep but they're worth it in my opinion haven't disappointed me yet! My only gripe is I wish they were just a bit louder

Great fit. Perfect sound. Total blocking of surround sound.

4 stars instead of 5 because it was a little tight around my head (I have a big head). And prolonged usage gave my head a little squeeze headache. Also I notice that the earpieces get a little warm and toasty after a while. Some may be okay with it, it was bothering me. All in all amazing sound quality.

I upgraded from the Sony MDR-ZX770BN (gave them to my mother in law). I thought those were good, these are much better at noise canceling! Battery life is good, about 8 hours, and sound much better than the Bose equivalent.

The noise cancellation is good. The sound is very good. The best feature is actually the battery life. I have a 1 hour commute and if i shut these off when not using a charge can last a week. Great looking product too.
