pairs easily with my iPhone, fits comfortably with glasses, and sounds pretty good. mostly using in the office to drown out noisy coworkers.

These headphones are amazing!! The quality and the sound are on point!! I bought them as a gift for my boyfriend for father's day and he loved them!!! They are a bit pricey but definitely worth it!!

I went through MANY pairs of wireless and noise-cancelling headphones, including the Bose Soundlink, Beats Solo3 Wireless,Audio-Techs, and V-Moda (V-Modas are the best headphones by far). The Sony's sound was just OK in wired/wireless. Nothing spectacular. The noise-cancelling was insane... I could not hear my wife or kids or dogs. Still, for the price-point and the fact it's Sony I'd expect the sound quality to be much better. Get the V-Moda cans. PROS: Comfort Noise-cancelling worked very well Volume/Music controls are pretty slick CONS: Music/Audio just OK, flat

I work around hydraulics at work and needed something to help drown out the loud noises. I found that golden ticket with the 1000X, offers superb sound quality will canceling noises around me. And with getting my hands dirty, have the NF controls on the side of my headset is a very welcoming feature so I don't have to deal with physical buttons. Dont sleep on this headset is it happens to hit a sale, SONY has outdone Bose here

I absolutely love these headphones. I compared them to the Bose and there were some great features the Sony ones had over the Bose and the Bose just could not compete with the touch gestures and the ability to put your hand over the right ear and be able to listen to what was going on without needing to take the headphones off. I also work in a loud environment in excess of 95db and with these on with no music I hear only a hum of the environment I am in and when in music mode I don't hear anything but the music.

with the Bluetooth i connect to anything and noise cancellation makes me transport to another world of my choosing. love it

These are great headphones. If you're looking for quality sound and good noise cancelling these are what you should get. Compared to the Bose QC35 the Sonys are better except for a few things. The touch sensitive controls should have been buttons. I mistakenly skip tracks and loose my place in audiobooks. Very annoying. The Bose are better it has buttons and the Bose are great because they can connect to two devices at once. The Bose also makes switching between devices easier. I returned the Sony headphones because of the annoying touch sensitive controls. I'm happy with the Bose for the two reasons i mentioned but the sound quality was noticeably better with the Sony headphones.

The best noise cancelling headphones ever! They're really soft and gentle. Easy to carry along with and they sound amazing!!!

This model was recommended by a coworker. I tried them on and knew I needed to have a pair. On the way to the airport, I bought a pair. I used them on my flight. I didn't hear the airplane flight noise, the pilot, my neighbor or anything else. I slept well on the flight. I found the headsets easy to pair. The sound is phenomenal and the sound cancelling is scary. Go out and get a pair now.

These headphones are so awesome! Comfortable! Easy to use! Sound Awesome! Don't know why you would buy anything else.

I only didn't give this 5 stars because it is a little too pricey. Tap to mute feature is a godsend when working in office with headphones on and someone walks up to talk.

The Sony's are my absolute favorite. I tried the Bose Quiet and Beats, and to me, the Sony's are the best. They have more features and fit tighter than the Bose & Beats; I have a narrow head. The noise cancellation is awesome. The silence can be eerie, but that's what I need when traveling, construction and loud neighbors. Plus you can put your hands over the cans and hear the pilot or flight attendant. Also, you choose different types of sounds to block. These are great!

The sound quality is better than Bose and the extra features are amazing! I was able to listen to airline announcements while listening to my music during important moments and then activate the noise canceling throughout the rest of the flight! When you turn it to voice mode, you are able to hear your music without hearing the noise from the plane. HIGHLY RECOMMEND these headphones!

These headphones are wonderful. They wrap completely and comfortably around the ears and cancel out noise effectively. Volume is decent. Connection to devices is fast. Materials feel durable.

I spent considerable time reading reviews and doing demos on the three main contenders in this class: The Sony 1000X, Beats by Dre, and the Bose Quiet Comfort. Being an audiophile for over 40 years, my main interest was the best and most accurate sound in the convenient wireless format. Wireless will never achieve the sound of a wired high-end product, however I must say the Sony 1000X exceeded my expectations for a wireless headphone. It has impressive, yet accurate bass that is crisp and not muddy. The Bose was not even close and actually disappointing with several of my source material. I own a wired pair of Studio Beats, but the sound, though good, is a bit colored and not as accurate. The bonus with the Sony is that the very convenient "swipe" technology on the side of the right headphone that allows a change in track or volume with your finger. The noise cancellation is amazing, and the ability to cup the right headphone with your hand allows you to mute the system and carry on a conversation with taking off the headphones. Highly recommended.

I was drawn to these based on the don't name and they did not disappoint! From the design to the sound quality these are top notch. I often times find my self immersed in my own world because of the noise cancelling feature. Someone could be right in my face and I have no clue to what they're saying. I have ran with these and have had no problems. No bouncing or shifing, they fit like a glove. I can't wait to try them when I fly to Florida in September.
