Great sounding pair of headphones. Very, Very comfortable & very easy easy to setup w/NFC

The headphones sound better than the QC35s with noise cancelling about equivalent. They are heavier though and squeeze just a bit tighter than the QCs but for me the sound quality improvement was more than enough to make the choice. If you buy these, remember to use the ANC calibration if you feel the noise cancelling isn't working that well. Oh and the noise cancelling with voice passthrough is awesome

Great headphones but couldn't stand up to the harsh noises of my truck, music sounds great, noise cancellation almost perfect, device just couldn't get rid of the most harmonics of the engine and wind noises, work most of the times but not all of the times, seem to mess up my most important calls, might have been my truck, excessively noisy, but all in all a great headphone, just not suited for my driving a truck

The noise cancelling for these headphones work phenomenally. You can also temporarily turn off noise cancelling or pause your music by simply covering one of the headphones with one of your hands. The sides interact in different ways with your paired device with all the traditional interactions through an easy move of your finger on the side of the headphones. These are pricey and if you are looking for just quality without all these cool features then I'd recommend to look elsewhere for a cheaper product that performs the same way.

This was a very good wireless headphones! feel a little heavier then the bose! But the function and the sounds are better than bose I think!

The MDR-1000x headphones offer a combination of performance points that I feel make these a great purchase. First; the sound quality is quite good, and short of spending thousands of dollars on electrostatic headphones, provide a fairly well balanced sound presentation. Some may not like the *nearly* flat response (typical of Sony, they are a bit bottom-end heavy) but that said, I found that they are a pleasure to listen to. Be certain to optimize the noise cancellation, as it makes a SIGNIFICANT difference in the audio response of these headphones. Second; the noise canceling is truly amazing, and has various modes to allow conversation and situational awareness, as well as a brilliant "touch the right earcup to briefly disable noise cancellation and lower music" mode to prevent you from having to remove the headphones to speak to someone. Comfort: These are fairly comfortable to wear, but here I need to say that more than a few hours, and you definitely notice them on your head. In this area, I will state that the Bose Qz35's are a bit better. Telephone use: I never anticipated that I would ever use these to talk on the phone, but I have had to take calls on them occasionally. My surprise is that other than being a bit more ambient than my Sennheiser Bluetooth dedicated headset, These performed quite well. Summary: These are a good value for a noise cancelling, audio contour adaptable headphone, and provide great sound quality.

I have owned several Bose products including the QC 35. Sometimes you don't want noise cancelling but you can't just turn it off with the Bose products. I love this headphone because I can watch videos or listen to music while my 6 month old son is sleeping and immediate tend to him once I hear him waking up. I consequently gave my QC 35 to my younger sister, who could really use it to study in school.

I use these solely to study and they are awesome! Noise cancelling works great and the feature that allows you to switch to ambient sound via the hand covering of the right headpiece is amazing and works great instead of having to take off the headphones. Can barely hear anything when I'm listen to acoustic music and could not hear outside noises when listening to non-acoustic music.

I bought these because my friend has the bose quiet comfort 35 and i must say these do a better job of noise canceling. My friend agreed as well. They sound just as good if not better. But its the touch features that knock these headphones out of the ballpark. The bose are more comfortable for sure but i was able bend the headband a little so the clamping force was not so strong.

I purchased these for my husband's birthday. He had done some pretty intensive research on these headphones as he is s "tech junkie". He used them on our flight to Mexico, but was disappointed with the difficulty of pairing with two phones; you can only pair one device for listening and one for telephone calls. The bass was a little weak for his liking, but the noise cancellation was great for the plane ride. Overall, if you like bass and the ease of pairing two devices, these are not the earphones for you.
