I use these for air travel and they do an amazing job of blocking out external sounds. The hand swipes onbthe right head phone is very convenient

Purchased the product on a sale and couldn't be happier with the quality of sound as well as the ability to cancel out nearly all ambient sound around.

The headphones have great range for wireless headphones and their sound quality is on the higher end. I'd say pretty comparable to the QC 25's by Bose.

Headphones sound great! All of its features work as it is supposed to. Wish the ear cushions were made of a more breathable material. I would have rated this headset 5 stars If I didn't mind having sweaty ears.

I use this when mowing the lawn on my riding mower and snow blower. It keeps the engine noise silent with no wires. It allows me to hear someone talking when I need to. Just what I wanted.

Choose this unit over Bose. By placing your hand over the right head piece allows you to listen to who is talking with you without taking the unit off

As stated above... these have just as great a sound quality as Bose, but more unique features for adjusting volume or muting sound. So far so good.

I've tried the Bose QC35 and the Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 wireless. The Sony's have the best of all features.

These Sony MDR 1000x headphones are fantastic – they sound great, feel great, and have great features. When I first put them on, I was very impressed with the feel. They felt very comfortable, yet sealed tight over my ears. When I switched them on, I was shocked by how well the Noise Cancelling feature worked! The only sound I could hear was my wife talking on the phone, but it seemed that her volume was tuned down to 1. It was kind of weird at first, so I took them off, and could then notice the normal sounds like the refrigerator running that had been totally blocked out. Then, I paired them with my iPhone and played some music. The sound is crystal clear, with full (not-overpowering) bass, and a nice even balance through the frequency spectrum. I listened to a variety of musical styles, and all of them sounded very life-like and full. It felt like I could hear details that my normal speakers didn’t produce. I also tried them with some streaming TV shows (Including Lake Cage) and again they performed flawlessly via Bluetooth. The next test was to plug them into my PC via the included audio cable. The sounds was just as good as it was via Bluetooth. And they were still comfortable to wear even after more than an hours use. The audio controls built into the earpiece are a very slick way to control volume and skip between tracks with just a flick of your finger. And a double-tap pauses the audio. No more fumbling for a switch on a cable.  The only downside I found was that the audio controls only worked via Bluetooth, and not the audio cable. I suppose that makes sense though. Thought the price may scare some people, I can say that I think these Sony MDR 1000x wireless headphones are well worth the money!!

Excellent sound quality and noise canceling. The innovative controls, especially the temporary disable feature so I can hear my spouse, are great.

Best noise cancellation earphone have ever seen. Pairing with my iPhone is so good. I even receive and make phone calls with good and clear voice.

Noise cancellation and Hi Res sound at its best. But falls a bit when it comes to bass. If you're not bass lover go for this.

The audio on these bad boys where phenomenal. The active noise cancellation blew my mind when the white noise from the plane was canceled out.

nice sound with easy listening took them on a trip and used them quite often as i listen to several podcast etc etc i would recommend them to anyone that needs quiet listening along with a piece of mind
