Although the bose are slightly better with noice cancellation the features on the Sony headphones are outstanding. Be sure and check them in person and you'll see what I mean. The "swipe" and "hold" features on the Sony headphones are very convenient compared to trying to guess which button you need to press on the bose headphones. I bought these for traveling and just regular use.

Brought them home late the other night and powered them up just to test them before bed...2 hours later I had to force myself to stop listening to music! The Roots. Mastodon. Tool. Hank Mobley. Aesop Rock. Nick Drake. Grimes. EVERYTHING SOUNDS AMAZING. Just enough punch. Very comfy. Smart design and cool controls. Did I think they were too expensive? Absolutely. Did I get my Money's worth? No doubt.
