Hook up very easy and simple. Setup was very straight forward and it sounds great! Every Sony receiver I have owned has always worked wonderful and has lasted.

Great sound and a lot of extra features. Replaced my 20 year old receiver with this one and very pleased so far. Very simple to set up.

Missed the sale on these this fall so when it was on sale in December, I snagged one for a bargain $200. Set up was ridiculously simple. The auto set-up with mike provided for equalizing the speakers was also a breeze. Good sound in a 7.2 receiver with a clean minimalist look. This replaced my original Onkyo 7.1 unit that died, and is much easier to use with a smaller footprint. Have had it for 1 month and so far no problems.

I came in because my receiver stopped putting out sound. Didnt know what to get. The sales guy suggested the Sony becuase I keep it in an enclosure and this product runs cooler than most receivers. The directions included, however, were not very clear on adjusting the sound, but after playing around a bit, it was quite easy. What I like is that its not super flashy and there arent a tone of buttons that you have NO IDEA what they do. Its simple, straightforward and puts out great sound. I love playing with the sound effects for when Im watching a movie or gaming. LOVE the Bluetooth connectivity. Certainly happy with my purchase.

Very easy to use and set up. I love that since my tv and blu ray are also sony, any remote works for all three, including my cable remote. I love that the mode switches inputs automatically. Very good sound even through 10 year old speakers. The only thing I dont like is the protector mode, which I hope wont be an issue once I get new speakers.

This system was purchased as an open box item in my local Best Buy store. I got it for a great price. I was purchasing multiple items for a new surround sound system. I wanted a solid unit that was priced well and had options for me to expand my system in the future. This is perfect for my needs. I will admit that I do not use all of the features but that is okay - they are there if I ever expand. The set up was easy especially because of the included setup microphone. Once I ran the test/setup function with the mic plugged in the system automatically adjusted each speaker for optimal sound. I have used this system for movies, TV, gaming, and music. For music I was easily able to connect my Samsung Galaxy s4 to the unit via bluetooth.

I was looking to upgrade my 2004 model Kenwood receiver to an HDMI receiver to fully take advantage of all the HDMI devices in the entertainment center. I purchased the Sony DH750 for $199 on sale right before Christmas. Excellent sound delivered for the receiver and works flawlessly with all my devices. If you are looking for an HDMI receiver at a great price then I recommend the DH750.

East setup...good sound and power. Nice to have 4 HDMI ports with audio.

This is an excellent receiver with great features. Great price for the features as well. Only reason for the 4 stars, Sony needs to include an owners manual via booklet or dvd instead of online. Completely happy with the purchase.

Purchased this in addition to 4 in-ceiling speakers, center channel, and sub-woofer. There is definitely a lot of wattage to power the sound system. I really like the Bluetooth feature; using the Soundpal app on my android, I can stream audio through the receiver. The main internet radio app is Songza, which is my favorite due to lack of audio advertisements. The only draw back is you can access every input source through the remote control except the Bluetooth so I have to get my lazy glutes off the couch. It comes with a FM wire antenna and a wired microphone to assist with calibration. There is no manual included so you have to find the PDF online. Calibration is easy and automatic. You can also use the remote control to make fine tuning adjustments to speaker gain at each individual speaker. Has HDMI pass through inputs and 2 sub-woofer ports.

This is a great receiver. Had not been sold on Sony for some years, but this receiver had everything I was looking for with exception of Watts, but I have not been disappointed. Auxiliary systems hook up easily and easy to use. I was looking for a good value, and this receiver I have found to be a Great buy !

I love this receiver, I got a pioneer reciever last year and it was OK for a beginner but since I have a seven speaker sony surround sound I needed a bigger and more powerful receiver. I did a lot of research and waited for the right time to get this receiver and when I finally got it home and hooked it up wow is all I have to say the sound is amazing and getting it at only 200 compared to the normal 350 I got a real good deal

Purchased the Sony STR-DH750 A/V Receiver several weeks ago. The $199 price was fantastic for a receiver of this quality with all of the bells and whistles that you would want, such as 7.2 Ch along with 4K Ultra HD pass through. With it's four HDMI inputs, I've been able to eliminate all of the cables going to my tv except for the oen HDMI from this receiver to the television.

Sounds great! Lots of power. On screen interface makes setup easy. Excellent value and product!

I am satisfied overall with this unit. I am only using it as a tuner/receiver for stereo speakers. The blue tooth works well with my iPhone. The downside is it comes with a very weak manual so you have to do research for programming support. I own the Sony model that is one step up for my television system and found it much easier to program due to having a superior manual.

This is an amazing receiver with an easy setup option for those that are not audiophiles with as much customization as any pro would want. It has plenty of power to push even the most modest of speakers but can bump it and hit the highs with the best of them. Truly the best option out right now if you are just starting out and are on a budget. I have a polk c15 center and 4 no name brand shelf's and it is perfect plan to get another pair of shelf's to really make the system sing. Some have commented about similar Sony receivers about poor build quality or cheap plastic but that is not the case. They are metal it is thin but that is for proper heat dissipation so don't worry there and all tuning knobs now a day are All plastic composite or the like. If you expect premium parts you have to pay for them and that will likely run you another 1 to 2 hundred bucks easy. In fact I don't know many people using this for a surround system that don't just use the remote. Very pleased with my decision and won't hesitate to go with Sony for similar purchases in the future. Never been disappointed in over 20 years using their products.

The Sony Receiver was at a great price. It was easy to setup and it sounds beautiful.
