I haven't upgraded my receiver in about 10 years, and was looking for something that wasn't too expensive, but was still good quality. This receiver was fairly priced, and is outstanding. The best feature is the auto calibration, which allows virtually no setup work by the user. You hook up the provided microphone and the system runs an audible calibration through all of your speakers, which lets you know everything is hooked up correctly, and gives you the best sound quality. I can't recommend this receiver enough.

This was purchased to replace another receiver that over-heated constantly. We have been thrilled with the sound quality of this receiver and it was very easy to set up.

Great receiver. Simple set up. Did require me to purchase new sub for system to work appropriately. Other than that it has been great.

Sounds good, good power, there are too few HDMI inputs though. The microphone to tune the speakers doesn't work, keeps saying it can't complete. Not a bad receiver for the money though.

I like that this has enough HDMI ports, the remote is simple and the buttons are easy to read, the installation and setup was easy, and the sound is good.

Sound is good, setup was easy, my only real detractor in this is that the onscreen GUI is basic, very basic, large black box in the middle of the screen with basic white text.

Receiver has the necessary options for a great sound, i like the fact it has Bluetooth. I have 5 speakers and a sub to it, sounds great at high volume.

For the price point, this is an excellent receiver with many functions. I bought it to replace an older Yamaha receiver with only one HDMI output. This sounds just as good!

I had to replace my old onkyo receiver with this one. Easy to setup. Immediately noticed the sound difference.

Was very easy to set up the receiver, set up mic is also useful. BT function working smooth, recognized phones. Remote is well designed, only the must have buttons are on it. Ideal for home use!

The receiver was a breeze to set up and the system is easy to control with the Harmony universal remote. Provides very good sound for a front line receiver allowing one to listen to loss less DTSound.

Have this receiver working with a Sony tv and Sony blue ray played. Love how they all work together. It is very easy to use and sounds great.

The receiver was very easy to install, setup, and configure for 5.1 operation. The audio quality is very good and wireless access via my android phone works well.

I got this product on deal and I bought the product for my Bose speakers and they work just great. I love the sound quality and the instructions in the manual are clear and straightforward.

I needed a USB pass-through amplifier to match my new Bluray player output. This deck nicely hooked up between the plasma tv and the player. I wish I could watch tv without having to run the deck, but so far if I want sound I need to run the amp. But it was easy to set up and controls were generally intuitive. There are a lot less cables with this configuration. The low price made it a no-brainer.

This is my first receiver I have bought. The price was great .I bought it mostly for music, but works great with the TV too!

Spent a little more to get this receiver with A/B switching. We are pleased with all of the features! Set up was fairly easy and the receiver works great. Our kids love the blue-tooth feature!

Decent but I had issues with the HDMI connections. January 8, 2016 DAMANN The receiver is decent. It powers seven speakers. I had issues with the HDMI connection. I could get audio but no video from my Xbox One. Unfortunately, I purchased it primarily for the HDMI hookup since my tv only has 2 HDMIs. I think I can work around the HDMI issue by adding a HDMI splitter to the tv. Oh well, it sounds really good, it looks really good, the price was really good. Honestly though, had I known the I would have issues with HDMI connection I would have just kept my seven year old Sony receiver.

Very nice unit for someone looking to update to a newer system with hdmi pass thru. Obviously not as nice as the more expensive ones but does a great job for a small home theater.
