Good in general. But lacking upper mid and high frequencies with tv programs. Movies and music sound better than tv programs. Sound dependent on source. DVDs and CDs sound great. Size was perfect for me. Bluetooth is nice to have also.

It was time to replace my 15 year old Bose system. With new technology now the sound system is great. I like that the bass can be laid flat on shelf vs standing up.

Needed a better sound with my new TV. This was easy to set up and the sound quality is better than I expected. Much thanks to the Best Buy associate who helped us with the selection. He gave us all the information we needed to decide.

right size and easy setup sounds great in my family room

This impressed me on the demo in store. The sub is under my bed and the bar on the dresser in front of tv, sound is amazing and like most optical cables, I also used an audio cable just to be able to have it easier to adjust the volume with the tv. Blue tooth with Pandora from phone fills the room with music! Sub never loses its wireless connection Great set up and sound!

Great Sound, easy to install, compact body makes it ideal for small spaces

I bought this sound bar to put in my bedroom. Figured I could put the sub under my bed in sofa mode, which I did and it works great! But it sounds so good that I’m starting to feel like my 32” tv looks a little ridiculous with all that sound. Thinking about upgrading to a 43”. It’s only downfall is that it’s not surround speaker compatible.

I like the clarity of the top end on the soundbar but the sub woofer only kicks in when there are extremely low frequencies. The end result is a bright sound with not enough meat in the middle. If you are on a budget it’s a big improvement from the tv speakers but it is not a high fidelity system.

Really great sound in the room. Not too bulky. Perfect for its size!

It works pretty well. Took a bit to get used to the audio balancing, but it's intuitive enough and is significantly better than TV speakers. Recommend for a medium upgrade in sound quality.

We purchased this on a Black Friday deal for $200 and took it back after about a week. In theory, the unit is great. I liked the idea of a hide-a-way sub we could slip under the couch and the sound bar itself is very compact. However, the actual sound was not good at all. No discernible surround effects in any mode and the sub was not nearly powerful enough to give any low end. Our previous soundbar was a Sony HT-C260 which is worlds better in every way. But our new larger TV necessitated a smaller soundbar to fit the available space. I ended up with a Samsung unit which is a step up in sound up from this Sony at a lower cost.

Speaker and subwoofer are powerful for its sizes! You see how small the speaker is and have doubts but it definitely produces a very high quality sound without having to put up the volume very much. If you’re looking to upgrade from your tv speakers and enhance the quality of sound for a fair price, this is definitely a sound system I would recommend!

bought this for my bedroom and th sound is awesome not too loud but enough to drown out the rest of the house, the sub fits under my bed with out a problem

Easy to install, sounds great, smaller for a better fit.

We were hesitant to spend the extra money on the sound bar but we are glad we did. The Bluetooth connects easily to our phones and listen to music on it

We like the Sony sound bar. It was simple to hook up. Sounds great!

No CEC connection to allow hdmi arcing for smart tvs. I don't think the sales associate understood my requirement but that's my fault as well. As for the system, small and powerful! I've built it into a custom entertainment system and people are dumbfounded as to where the sound is coming from.

It's a nice size for a smaller room, easy setup, minimal space required.

Great sound. It is compact, easy to set up. I am lovin' it.
