I can't believe the sound produced by the compact Sony sound bar. In the bedroom where we placed it, it sounds like we installed a very expensive system. Movies and music sound incredible. When in night mode, it does not bother anyone else in the adjacent bedrooms.

The sound bar and subwoofer are worth the amount paid

Was a christmas gift for my brother. He absolutely loves it. Can't go wrong with Sony products.

I originally purchased the Bose Soundbar but there was no bass so I returned it and got this one... even though the subwoofer isnt big it makes a lot of difference. The sound is great and the subwoofer is pretty thin. Great for small room or where I have it - my bedroom.

Amazing sound, Amazing clarity~ So clear in fact when I walk outside of my apartment and close the door , I can hear every word clearly and perfectly, whether a tv show, movie or music ~ Goes beautifully with the tv I bought as my hubby’s Christmas gift and anniversary gift.

Works great for the price, but it just doesn't have enough sound range. The base is very low. Only highs, and some lows. It just didn't cut it for me so I returned the item.

We are happy with our purchase the whole will use!

I purchased this sound bar to compliment my new TV that was destroyed during Hurricane Harvey

Looking for a great looking speaker and even better sound without breaking the bank. This is it, we bought it after hearing the sound in the store, we have a small den and wanted something that would fill the room with sound, this puts you in the movie.

For the price, this sound bar offers a nice added big sound. I particulaurly like that the sub woofer is small and it can easily store next to sofa table or under the sofa.

This is a small Soundbar with big sound and a sub-woofer. I loved how the store was able to demonstrate this device before my purchase. That was the strong selling factor, along with the Sony product name. The person to whom the gift was given is ecstatic.

I originally intended to buy a high dollar sound Bar system but found the Sony at a bargain price as an open box special. I have been pleasantly surprised with the sound quality for a small system.

Needed something beefier than the TV speakers. I know it is not 7.1, or even 5.1, but this little sound bar is perfect for my small condo. No wires run all over the room, and setup was super simple. Great product, and even got it on sale! Bonus points for that.

We spent a lot of time researching and listening to different brands before choosing this product. Our living area is small so we didn't need anything too powerful. So far, we love it! Sound is great, and placing subwoofer under the couch really enhances surround-quality sound.

Works fine, should be hdmi instead of optical connection. Biggest downfall is that it does not work with most Sony tv remotes so now I need to use 2 remotes

This soundbar is a great solution for a small room. it is not too loud but provides great clear sounds. The wireless subwoofer has lost its connection a couple times, but other than that its a great value.

We had been listening to the sound of the TV through the TV for so long I forgot how good it would sound through a sound system. It works well and is small enough not to be intrusive. For a simple sound system it is great.

what can I say that needs to be said? It's a Sony. perfect fit for my early Xmas gift.

I had the Geek Squad set up and install the Sony Sound Bar system to an existing Sony 55" TV in the master bedroom. The system sounds great. The Geek Squad also programmed an eliciting universal remote to insure all could be controlled by a single remote.
