Our TV sits in a wall unit and has limited width to handle a soundbar. This one fit well and produces good sound for it's size.

I bought this product for the open box price even though the sticker read no accessories missing the controller was nowhere to be found but my favorite feature of the soundbar is it turns on when I turn on my Sony Bravia TV.

Great sound for the price and size, fits under the couch and color works well for living room.

It sounds good for the size of the bar but it lacks most of the features other soundbars this price and slightly cheaper have. Was disappointed it had to use an optical cable instead of hdmi because it is lower quality signal and i cant control the volume with my TV remote. The remote for the soundbar is not great but it gets the job done, im sure a harmony or universal remote would work for it though.

Nice full sound and decent bass response for the money. Like that it is a short bar. I like it so much I bought another just like it for the ranch.

For a sound bar thats compact in size, it creates a much more movie like sound compared with the TV speakers. Set up was quick and the bar and sub woofer fit nicely in the room.

Soundbar is small and compct but offers great sound for a small room to mid size room. Nice subwoofer, you can set it up underneath your couch and it’s amazing

Love this little speaker! Pros: -Very full & powerful sound, I’ve had to keep the volume around 35-40 because the sound is so clear and strong but that’s a good thing in my opinion because I have poor hearing. -Easy to connect -Easy to operate -Subwoofer works extremely well and compliments the sound perfectly without overbearing bass. Cons: -I’ve only had one instance where I couldn’t get any sound and couldn’t figure out what caused it but the fix was super easy-just turned it off and on then hit the Bluetooth button again.

This Sony Soundbar System may very well deserve a five-star rating. Because I've had it only a short time, however, and haven't had time to experience it in depth yet, I've limited the rating to four stars.

We really like this sound bar system. It really improves the sound quality of our TV and helps us to hear better. We especially like the compact size.

The sound for on my tv was not adequate for my living room. This makes my experience in watching tv and movies much more enjoyable. Easy to hook up. Looks great.

I bought this for a Christmas gift, she had limited space and a regular sound bar wouldn't fit . She love the sound and compact size .

Overall I love this soundbar. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was due to the fact my wireless sub woofer just recently wouldn't pair with the soundbar. But sent out to Geeksquad & they did a factory reset. Now it pairs up fine again. Definitely has great clean sound & the sub has just enough bass to make everything sound great. Personally I do not like super loud bass, but if you do, you might want something bigger & more powerful.

I purchased the Sony 2.1 sound bar to enhance the sound as the speakers on the XBR55800E are at the bottom of the tv frame and face downwards. The sound bar is 20 inches across so there is no stereo separation. However for the $ it is a great sound enhancement.

Get this if you have a small room or want anything better than TV speakers. It has good volume and substance. Great bedroom speakers and it has a very small footprint. The sub can be moved to the rear of the room or under the bed or couch.. It only hooks up with an optical cable, no HDMI, so you have to use a separate remote. It has good sound. I got mine as an open box so the price was great vs other comparable speakers. Would recommend.

This is a great sound bar if you need a little more kick to your tv speakers. If your looking for the windows to shake you may need something more powerful. Still an overall good soundbar.

Smaller than my previous sound bar but sounds way better, drift leg recommend as TVs nowadays aren’t picking much sound.

I was sold on the Bose but the employee sold me on this. It’s the same sound quality as the sound bar but the Sony comes with a subwoofer. So I went bang for buck. Im happy with this purchase. The sub is great especially for the special effects. Ohh, my livingroom is small in my townhome so for a larger room I can’t comment. I just know it would be to loud in a bedroom. Lastly, Music sounds great threw the Bluetooth as well.
