Compact, good sound
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The subwoofer is really compact and easy to place. The wireless connection to the subwoofer is a great feature, so you can put the subwoofer just about anywhere in the room. The speaker bar is a good size for a smaller TV, but it does not have any way to mount it to the wall. The wiring is minimal -- just a power cord and input cable for the speaker bar, and just a power cord for the subwoofer, so it is easy to keep your cables neat. It comes with a fiber-optic cable for optical connections! It only has inputs for optical, headphone jack, and USB for a storage device or MP3 player. The remote control includes navigation buttons for your USB device, but I didn't test it for function. As far as the sound goes -- it is way better than the built-in speakers of the TV. The sound is really crisp and clear, but it doesn't have the punch I'd expect from a powered subwoofer. There's a separate vol control for the subwoofer, but when you crank it up it just gets muddy. I'd say that the sound would be great for a bedroom or if you're in an apartment because I don't think it'll be too much of a problem with your neighbors. I'm a little surprised that it doesn't have Bravia synch. My TV is a Sony, but the TV remote does not work on the sound bar. I was able to program the soundbar remote code into my cable box remote, so that's a plus. It also doesn't turn itself on or off along with the TV like my other audio systems do. So -- I think it's a really high quality system, it's just missing the punch and a bunch of features that I'd expect. Seems high-priced for the sound and features you get.

Great Sound
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Although no HDMI input, the optical connection provides a nice sound. I was a little skeptical at first when I hooked it up to my old Sony Bravia television and because the soundbar demo seemed to play better in the Best Buy store. This sound pretty good in my tiny one bedroom apartment. After reading the instruction booklet thoroughly I figure out how to adjust the sound as needed. I am disappointed because the pads for the subwoofer pads were not included in my package. I did not want to repack the unit to take it back to Best Buy to exchange for a packet with pads It works well with my TV and Amazon fire tv Cube. I created a group named livingroom added the television and the soundbar; now I can operate the volume and turn both the soundbar and television off and on with a voice command. My couch/loveseat sits flush on the floor; therefore I am not able to place the subwoofer underneath. I place it standing upright between the back of the couch and the wall. I did not want it on the side of couch because that is where people come in and out. I have watched Avengers: Infinity War on Netflix three times with the soundbar; also Kong Skulls Island (Blue-Ray DVD). The mini unit sounds amazing.

Stylish,compact design with great sound.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What TV speakers should sound like, it just has a great clear, clean sound. I have subwoofer tuck away flat on the bottom shelf of my end table beside the couch and you think it is not working and then it goes booming with punch and loud rumble when things get intense in your movie and I here so much clearer dialog, deeper bass and richer sound than the TV stock speakers even when just watching TV. It makes watching my Sony 55" Bravia TV XBR55X900E so much more enjoyable. The song Thunder by Imagine Dragons sounds really great on this unit. Things I wish it would do or have are, there is no sound level display indicator to show what level of sound that you are at and no HDMI hook up that some are looking for. It will not sync to your Sony TV remote, you have to use your dedicated sound bar remote.

Great for my 27" TV in Dining-Kitchen area
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Small TV and small house! Set up in my open dining-kitchen area. Absolutely love this equipment! If anyone walked by my house the other night - they would have wondered about the shooting and galloping horses. I love a good western - The Gambler (Kenny Rogers) - and this fully delivered!

Compact with a good sound
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was surprised at how good this system sounds with it's small form factor. The sub-woofer and speaker combo is a lot smaller than my older system. I assumed since it was smaller it wouldn't deliver the sound. I am pleased at how well it sounds, while having a small form factor. The NFC pairing process is a plus as well. I was able to pair it quickly with no issues using my Android smartphone.

Awesome Soundbar and Subwoofer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this soundbar and subwoofer for my Samsung 4K smart television. It sounds great in my living room! The bass from the subwoofer is adequate and not too overwhelming! Good sound for the price!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Looking for a compact sound bar/sub for my rv, this setup puts out just the right amount of sound. For a sub smaller than 5 inches, and the price, I ordered an “open box” connected with optical cable, and it works great!

BEST SOUND BAR AT THIS PRICE AND MORE
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.BOUGHT THIS ON SALE $199 FOR SONY 900E. GREAT IMPROVEMENT. SOUND IS REMARKABLE AND THE WOOFER WORKS EXTREMELY WELL WHEN MOVIES REQUIRE IT TO. YOUR NOT GOING TO GET POUNDING BASS WATCHING REGULAR TV. BUT WOW ON THE MOVIE OR NEW OTA PROGRAMING OF NEW SHOWS ON CHANNELS 2, 4, 5 11, 330. NOT DISAPPOINTED AT ALL . WOULD HAVE BEEN DISAPPOINTED PURCHASING CT800. THIS SETUP HAS CLEAR VOCALS AND EVEN THOUGH A SHORT BAR COULD NOT TELL. nO OVER KILL ON SOUND. THE OTHER SOUND BARS PRODUCED FAKE AND A SOUND COVERING BASS. iF LOUD AND NO CENTER CHANNEL WITH TO MUCH BASS IS WHAT YOU WANT THIS SYSTEM IS NOT FOR YOU. COULD YOU IMAGINE THE USE ON GAMING? I WOULD THINK PRETTY GOOD. 1 MINOR FLAW NOT ARC.

good quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i find this product to be a good value because it did not take up too much space, it has the sub woofer that can be placed any where and the sound is a decent quality for watching sports or general TV, the level sound quality when playing music from the TV is good, not over powering but decent to play,, If you want an up grade from the garbage TV speakers this is a good quality but save the cash and buy the open box,,,

Not excited
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: Easy to set up Cons: Bluetooth link weak, which causes buffering/skipping... Product rep in the store told me that it would auto calibrate the surround (ie, ping the walls to get optimal surround setup), not an option... overall sound is flat... optical only link to to tv means that I have to use the sound bar remote, and sound bar has to be turned on to have sound, mute option on (Sony) tv remote doesn't affect sound bar status, no visual indicator of sound level for bar/sub. I had a 5.1 Sony system from 2007 that I wanted to upgrade (lost one cable so it is 4.1 and won't recalibrate without all speakers), but after a week, I like the new system less and less each day, will be returning it to go back to the old setup, until it dies.
