Very happy with my purchase. Sound quality is exactly what i was looking for. I did put this in on a tv in a bedroom. Don't buy it thinking you'll get tremendous sound in a huge living room. A small one is probably fine or like I did, a bedroom.

Black Friday husband decided let’s go to Best Buy. I want the Vizio soundbar. We get there he sees the Sony soundbar for cheaper. Goes back and forth between the two. Finally after about an hour and a half he decides let’s get this one after so many people tell him Sony Sony Sony. As soon as we get home puts it together and fell in love. Best decision he made with the Sony.

Sound bar is great to amp up the tv speaker volume. By no means powerful but it gets the job done. Bought an open box for a lot cheaper and works great.

This is the best for your buck and even better I got it for Black Friday

Got this on sale. Debated on if this small soundbar would be good for my living room. It definitely exceeded my expectations! It may be small but it has BIG sound. I don't know how I ever enjoyed my viewing experiences before this!

The sound is good and clear, the subwoofer is strong. Wish I didn’t have to directly point the remote at the device to make it function, would make this system easier to use

Good thing I bought the Best Buy warranty on this product as the settings on this reset every time you turn the product on and off, meaning you’ll have to go in and manually set the multiple options for the voice controls each time. They are your quality really is not that great and the 3-D sound effects for this really are subpar for a 3.1 system. The Bluetooth has gone out and the wireless subwoofer does not always connect. I bought it on sale in the $200 price range but honestly any other sound bar in that range would be a better option. I’ve always been a fan of Sony but this one was not their best. Decided to upgrade to a Bose sound bar which sounds absolutely incredible and worth the extra $200.

Did unit has a wonderful sound and I enjoy playing music through it

my husband and I decided to go with this upgraded model from the one that was on sale during the holidays. Definitely worth it as far as sound and quality is concerned. I love that we can hook up our phones and can hear the soundbar outside even though it's set up in our living room. The sub is behind our couch and we can feel it when we're watching a movie. Couldn't expense a full surround sound at the time so this was a nice compromise. My only complaint is because markers on the sound bar are closely colored so it's hard to make out what they are (bluetooth, etc.) Aesthetically speaking, I'm sure this is preferable to most. But I'm all about what's faster to get to what I need to do and that deciphering makes me lose time so it's not something I like. Otherwise, I have no complaints.

Good sound for watching movies & video streaming. Soundstage is narrow due to size of soundbar. Don't expect much for hi-fi music listening. Easy to set up

The size is great. The simplistic controls on the sound bar and the remote are fantastic as well. The sound is decent. The subwoofer is average and the sound bar is just a notch above. Fit and finish is very nice.

Project the sound perfectly, cant beat the quality for the price

We were very surprised by the excellent sound quality from such a short sound bar. We selected this unit because it would easily fit in our entertainment center.

The sounds of the sound board are great very clear good quality

Pros: Compact, simple design fits inside my media console. Wireless subwoofer works great behind my couch. Sound very solid, clear at the loudest setting that I watch movies at. Cons: No real legitimate cons, but worth noting - No ARC support, which I already knew, but still would have been nice to have. No additional HDMI imputs to act as a hub, also which I already knew. Some have commented on the lack of digital read out indicating volume level, but it's really not a big deal at all. I just increase and decrease to what my ears find enjoyable.

It is compact and easy to set up if you have tight space. I wish there is volume display. Overall, Sound quality is decent for the price.
