I’ve always loved Sony products but this item came up short for what I was expecting! I bought this Soundbar because a friend told me this item was on sale for $120 during Black Friday deals. I was expecting a whole lot more because of the Retail Price listed for the product. The sound is good, don’t get me wrong but it’s not what I was expecting from Sony. My Klipsch Soundbar that I had previously bought sounds much better. If you’re able to get a great deal on it then definitely get it like I did! I really can’t complain for the price paid. In short, I only recommend this product if you’re able to get it for a great deal!

I read a ton of sound bar reviews before purchase. I was going to go with a cheaper brand but this Sony system was on sale. For some reason I trust the Sony brand more than others. It took all of one minute to set up and the sound is incredible. I have not had one issue with it so far and have had it for about a month now. Make sure your tv has an optical port for connection. the sound bar comes with the optical cord you need to connect to tv. Some older flat screens don't have the optical port. Mine didn't so i ended up buying an amazingly cheap black friday tv also. So now my set up is super sweet. It'll sound like you're at a movie theater and it connects effortlessly via bluetooth to your smart phone also to play music or whatever you like to listen to on the system. I highly recommend this sound bar!

The sound with this unit is nice. Rich sounding but not overly heavy on the bass. I especially like the preset modes: music, movies, sports, etc., along with the ability to adjust for voices when watching a movie. Just be sure that you have hdmi or optical output. When I tried the audio output, the voices lagged behind the video a bit.

Got this on sale for the fraction of the original price so it was worth buying. I have yet to really blast it but it has provided great sound for everyday listening. Would not pay more than $150 for it tho.

Very happy with the purchase. The sound is good with music and decent with TV and video. Subwoofer is a little underpowered, but overall for the price it is a very good purchase.

I had originally purchased an older model that I was extremely unhappy with . I went into the store and spoke to a sales rep that was extremely helpful and he helped me pick out this ad I'm absolutely in love with it it gets really loud and the base on the sub woofer for is amazing.

Had really researched the multiple sound bars that are available, I have a LG Smart television and was leaning toward the same company. But when I walked into Best Buy and saw that they had this Sony model on sale (Christmas Special price) for the same price as the LG, I couldn't resist. I literally had it set-up and working in about 15 minutes. The sound is awesome when used with the television. But that is not all. The bluetooth works great w/ iPhone, iPad, Mac, and delivers quality sound. This is a GREAT sound bar for the cost. I'm sure there are better systems out there, but for the money compared to the quality, you can't beat this system!

This sound bar offered just whats missing when setting up our new playroom Sony TV. It has an amazing sound offering from such a compact unit. it is a bit bigger than some of the samsung sounders out there, but the quality of sound is worth the extra foot print. Set up was fairly simply. Offers enough options such as bluetooth for pairing music from our devices and auto off...I am extremely satisfied with this purchase.

SOUNDBAR: We currently use this in our living room which is huge. The sound bounces off the walls nicely. There's no distortion, just clear and crisp sound. We bought it because it was on sale, and well, it is a SONY. We have NEVER had any issues out of our Sony devices. This sound bar has different options for sound effects as well as Bluetooth, aux, TV options. It is very easy to set the Bluetooth up. We enjoy setting up our phones to play music through the speaker. SUBWOOFER: Be sure that wherever you sit the subwoofer that it is on a flat, solid surface. We were in an old house with a crawl space and the floors rattled and the sub wasn't very clear. In fact it sometimes had a popping noise and we would have to cut it off. Now that we are on a concrete slab the sub is more clear and doesn't rattle. I just don't want buyers to think there's an issue with the sub, when it may be the location of it. I hope this review helps.

I purchased this sound bar and subwoofer on sale. It's not top of the line but works great for my needs. I'm glad I purchased it and happy with the performance.

Took me about 2 minutes to setup. The wireless sub is not and has a good thump to it. Speaker is clear and loud enough for any room. Has great sound for a great price.
