We bought the sound bar in order to improve the sound projection from the TV set. So far, we are ok with it, but at the same time, not sure that we really accomplished the improvement we wanted. We will keep the sound bar - like the depth of the bass that it adds, but do not be expecting this to be a surround system because it isn't.

The Sony - 2.1-Channel Soundbar System with Wireless Subwoofer and Digital Amplifier has great sound for the price. Would recommend to anyone.

Bought this open box at a discount. Adds a lot of depth to an otherwise flat sounding tv. Wireless subwoofer works via Bluetooth with no delay. There are a lot of input options, and I like the NFC connection for guests who want to connect quickly to play their own music. If you buy open box, make sure you get the remote with it.

I had geek squad set up and it sounds great .love it!

I like the Sony sound system with my new 55" 850D but it still leaves me picking up two remotes to maximize the sounds. The Sub would me more effective if the level was not limited. The maximum volume is what I would consider minimum for my taste. I hope the sound range is better with the addition of the midrange speakers.

This is a sleek low profile sound bar with great bass and great clarity. Not many better 2.1 sound bar combos out there that in my opinion beat this one. Suggestion don't go with model below this one as it is a huge difference in sound level and quality. This is a great choice for bedrooms or smaller main tv rooms. I put in our basement small man cave and it sounds amazing down there especially since it's not even a finished basement too. Had a little trouble connecting at first but with Sony help line they helped me fix that quick. Solid purchase!!

Very happy with the sound and looks of this product.

Nice things are the app which lets you adjust all aspects of the sound bar from your phone. Also, the ability to pair a headset in a sound bar is not easy to find and this one does that. The preset sound options do make a difference but I do wish I could adjust the bass more. Far better than the Bose system I had.
