Perhaps I expected too much. Yes, it is better than the speakers on the back of my new Sony TV. How could it not be? Most TV speakers are small and rear-facing. So while it's nice to have a soundbar pointing right at me, it's just not as powerful or easy to listen to as I had hoped. The subwoofer is nice and definitely "booms" hard, which helps put you in the action. But I haven't been that impressed when trying to listen to dialogue. Especially when the volume is a bit lower. Just not as clear as I hoped.

My old LG sound bar had starting not functioning properly. This is by far a better sound bar. Got it on sale as well so that was a bonus.

The subwoofer still pounds throughout movies we watch and music we listen to as well. I cannot be more happy with a purchase than I have been with this soundbar. I believe the model number is the HTC790 and we have not had a single issue with this product. Purchased on September 10, 2016.

It lacks a little bass but I expected that from reading the other reviews. Don't get me wrong it has bass but I just wish it had a little more. Overall I am very pleased with the sound.

The price I paid then, made this item a good deal. If I had to pay Full price, I would probably have been disappointed.

They first one was defective so I exchanged it. The subwoofer is good, but I wanted more bass so I purchased and additional analog subwoofer.
