This song sound bar is excellent! I tried out several in the store including Polk, and the others they had on display and this one stood out to me at a reasonable price and also very good sound. The bass could be a little better but compared to two different Polk sound bars that I tried at home this was by far much better sound all around. The others sounded like it was coming from a speaker, whereas this Sony fills the entire living room and into other rooms of the house, at full blast, my house shook! Definitely worth buying this if you want an affordable, great sound bar!

Geek squad set up TV and speakers. The Directv remote controls the sound from the speakers and you don't have to use a separate remote. Very happy with the speakers.

Out of the box the sound is good. Much better than tv speakers. With the ability to further add wireless rear speakers this is a great option that you can grow into

Bought the sound bar along with a Sony 50” 4K and the connection was supremely easy and work flawlessly. Great sound and good enough bass on the sub. Would recommend this for a good beginning home theater system or for apartment living or dorms.

I found it very easy to set up this sound bar. I was shopping around for awhile. I walked into the store with several choises but this was on display to use. After playing with it there i made me decision. Glad i got to hear it before buying.

I didn't look too much into different sound bars,I only knew what features I wanted and this one fit the bill and my budget. The base is great, Bluetooth connects easily, and is nice to have some theater type sound when watching movies now.

When I first connected this sound system, I noticed it seemed particularly lacking in the low end. I've always preferred punchy bass and deep lows, maybe even a little exaggerated. But this system requires you adjust your input device's equalizer to achieve the proper amount of lows from the subwoofer. It has amazing clarity and a full spectrum of sound. It does a great job at achieving a full spatial effect, surround sound-like audio from just a few channels from the same angle. Just make sure you mount this sound bar at the height of your TV and sit directly in front of it for the best surround. The wireless sub, although not one to rattle the windows, is convenient and responsive. For the cost of this system, it achieved the same quality of sound from my significantly more expensive Klipsch system, which this replaced. Overall, you'll be pleased. If you want to feel the thunder, it may leave you adjusting audio settings to an extreme on the low frequencies.

My brand new 4K Sony TV that I had hung on the wall was no longer producing the sound that it once had. I figured out that because it was hung, the speakers on the each side of the TV were only projecting right and left and we couldn't hear the TV unless we put the volume on 65 which is not normal. Bought this fabulous sound bar and it can be used for so many different things including Bluetooth. So I can sit on the couch and play the music from my phone for a dinner party of just when I want to let loose. Lol. Definitely a great investment!!!

sound bar was good, but had a weak bass, the arc worked good but the price was high for what i got about two weeks later it was on sale for 80 dollars less

We’ve wanted a sound bar for years. We bought a new tv from bestbuy so decided to get a cheaper soundbar at the same time. This one came with a wireless subwoofer as well. Our living room is approximately 13x20 and this sound bar/subwoofer combo is awesome. Big, booming, clear sound with movies and gaming. I highly recommend. We have game night every weekend or two with my son and daughter in law and they love it also...plan to get them this for Christmas, for their gaming. Lol

Easy to set up. The only complaint , there isn’t an on screen volume control for the sound bar or on screen switching from one mode to another.

We all know that Sony is a fantastic electronics manufacturer. This sound bar has fantastic sound. I'm not an audiophile by any means but I can appreciate good sound especially when it comes to watching my favorite blockbuster movies and when listening to my favorite musicians. This bar and associated subwoofer are perfect for those looking for a simple setup without the price of Bose or other higher end systems.

Sony - 2.1-Channel Soundbar System with Wireless Subwoofer and Digital Amplifier was very easy to hook up. The quality of the sound, especially when watching movies, is excellent. I'm very glad we invested in this product.

I bought it because it was on sale and I figured that a $350 tv wouldn’t have very good sound. It works as it’s supposed to. Get the job done.

Had this Soundbar mounted and installed by Geek Squad with my Sony Bravia HDR 4K 65 inch....great sound bar. Everything sounds great and the subwoofer is powerful. I would highly recommend it, especially for the price.

I’ve spent six months with this sound bar in daily use. Bottom line: if you can get this on sale, it’s worth it. Nigh-unusable controls and no on-screen display almost outweigh decent sound quality. Disclaimer: I was able to buy this unit at Best Buy on tremendous discount - $90, I think. Assumptions about value should be read through the lens of my cost. This Sony unit’s best feature is its above average sound quality. Once the subwoofer and sound bar are calibrated and balanced, I was impressed with the punchy midrange and the adequate lower end. Getting the unit set up was impossible, though. All input confirmation is displayed on a small (1.75” x 0.75”) panel on the bar, and deciphering what each blip means is like reading Ancient Greek. Also, the sound bar doesn’t save settings - requiring daily retuning to optimal levels. Again, with no on-screen feedback, this is a process eventually done by ‘feel.’ A nice feature is the ‘Night’ audio level option on the remote. It seems to beef up voices when the sound bar is tuned to a low volume - ideal for a family TV in a shared area of the house.

I was not sure what I wanted to use the sound bar for but it works extremely well in my house. I now use it as my bluetooth speaker from my phone. Great sound quality and looks good without being a nuesance to space.

Bought this to replace a cheaper version we originally purchased and I have to say this sound bar is Amazing! The sound out of it is spectacular. I now know what movies and games should sound like! Crystal clear+

I bought this during Black Friday, so it hasn't been opened yet, but compared to the other sounder bars in this price range, the sound quality and bass of this Sony was so much better. I know this will be a hit!
