We had intended to buy a cheap sound system and once we heard the sound this put out there was no question, we had to have it. Great sound, easy menu to use and easy setup.

The sound this Sony soundbar puts out is amazing. You can adjust the bass to your liking and the ease of set up is, well, it's just plain simple. I love it!

This sound bar is great the output is phenomenal 4 HDMI inputs Optical input in one HDMI output. I enjoyed playing music using the Bluetooth feature sounds great it's loud the wireless subwoofer has extremely heavy Bass. Bought this for the Super Bowl game no regrets whatsoever and it is compatible with 4K TVs. Excellence Soundbar with wireless subwoofer if you don't believe me go test it at the nearest Best Buy store.

I read many reviews before buying a sound bar, it seems like audiophiles where not very happy with this product but I think it is amazing. It automatically switches inputs with ARC and the volume change with the TV remote. The sound bar puts out a lot of strong sound and the wireless bass has great strenth. It was easy to set up. Yes, sound bars are not as good as surround sound but this bar is pretty close the real thing. Bottle line, I would recommend this product to friends and family. I would buy it again.

Sound is better than TV speakers, and we like the extra dimension of the subwoofer, but connection to TV and other devices was not as simple as the store tech suggested. I'm also not crazy about having to keep track of three or four different remotes--Cable TV, Blue-Ray, soundbar, etc.--but some of those devices aren't easily programmed into a universal remote. It can get complicated figuring out the correct input device and remote for whatever we're attempting to watch. As for the "friend recommendation," only if they're halfway tech savvy.

It's the perfect balance of sound for my living-room. I have my tv on the wall and the speakers aren't the greatest for sound travel. I wanted something to improve the quality but not rattle the windows. Also a big plus was only one HDMI cable had to be run through the wall and the rest are now plugged into the back. Saved money on only needing 4ft cables instead of 12 ft cables. Big plus!

We have an old Panasonic plasma TV with limited connection options and the sound was not great. This soundbar has 3 hdmi connections which worked perfectly to connect TV, Bluray player and gaming. The sound is amazing, really fills the room. Subwoofer adds a nice sound boost. Also works great for music. Originally had the HTCT380 which was ok but decided to return for the HTCT780. The extras on this unit make it well worth the upgrade. Also got an open box deal for a real bargain.

I purchased this sound bar to accompany a Sony TV I had recently purchased. The sound is very filling for the room I have it in (24' x 20'). The HDMI inputs are oriented as to make wall mounting easy. Since it is also a Sony, I am able to access its control menus from the TV. The only gripe I have is you must scroll through the inputs vs selecting which one I need. Over all, I am quite satisfied with it.

This is a great soundbar I puchesed this after getting rid of my 5 speaker surround sound I wanted something sleek and was tired of messing with cables. The bass is great shakes the whole room much better bass then my last system. And the sound is clear and crisp although you don't get a true 5.1 sound but for the price it's a great buy for a clean setup!

Shopped around and was confident Sony was the way to go, both with my TV and of course this sound bar. I would have gone a step up to the NT3 but don't plan on doing a lot of speakers throughout. I really enjoy the 3 HDMI inputs and Bluetooth interaction with the App on my phone.

Easily hooked up cable box, blue ray player and game system. Turned on sound bar, selected input and had great bass thumping sound. Love that you can raise and lower bass subwoofer separately. Paired a tablet with Bluetooth and had i heart radio with great stereo system sound, not from a separate tinny speaker. Love this soundbar!

Exactly what I was looking for. Takes up little space, looks sleek, and sounds great.

Excellent value. It was a rather expensive purchase for audio equipment, but after extensive research and comparing other similar products it is definitely the best value for the money. Previously bought and returned the beat pill. It had excellent base, great sound depth, and the Bluetooth connection is an added bonus.

I've shopped around for many sound bars with subwoofer. I have Tested many out and found this Sony in the returned department. Got it for a heck of a deal and it was well worth the price. The bass is adjustable for the subwoofer and it delivers some extreme bass for how small it is. Sound quality is at its best as well with many different surround sounds to choose from .

Sound system ideal for the money! Easy installation and the subwoofer really gives the effect of surround sound when watching a movie or listening to music. I added this soundbar and subwoofer to my Sony XBR 65 Inch 900 series television, and I love the combination of these two Sony products.

I purchased this unit to compliment my Sony x850b. The sound fills the room great. The remote subwoofer allowed me to hide it behind a couch. It did take a bit of fiddling to get my Harmony One to work with the switching of sources, but not more than a few extra steps. I highly recommend it, even more if you are using it with a Sony tv that will also control the audio unit.

This is a great sound bar. The only reason why I did not rate this excellent is because of the design of the product. It's too tall, so I had to buy a piece of wood to put under my Sony TV to raise it up because the sound bar was blocking the TV sensor. I wasn't able to turn the TV off or on unless I stood up. Sony just needs to work on the compatibility of the design of their products.

The sound quality that comes out of this system is AWESOME! We like to watch movies, and with Sonos it sounds like it's really happening right there in your living room. Some explosions make me jump and question if it was something outside. I love being able to turn Sirius on with my phone anywhere within wifi range, and off for that matter. It really ROCKS the house!
