If ur into the bass and boom this isn't the way to go. I thought I could throw a nice get together with a few friends n maybe get a good balance of music n conversations but it's kinda like trying to talk during a football game and the PA system is blaring out statistics. it would be nice if I could keep it for center channel and add components and better sub but u can not.

That being said, the quality of the sound , especially the base , is not as good as the prior year's model of this unit. Also requiring comment, the remote provided with this unit is many levels lower in quality and utility than the prior model's unit. It looks and feels like a piece of junk. I've noticed this reduction in quality and utility with all Sony audio and video product remote controls over the past few years.
