We have two from Sony, I have the HCT770 and later recommended to my parents. When they went to ask for that specific model, it was no longer available. Sony came out with a newer version HCT780 which is a better version of what i have. We have compared sound quality and the crispiness of the sound and the HCT780 is definitely a upgraded version of the HCT770.

This system really goes, definitely worth the money. Sound is clear and crisp, and the bass is deep and gives movies a whole new dimension.

The design is sleek with setting up rather easy. The bass is extremely loud which sounds especially good while watching sporting events.

This sounds great and the different sound field settings work as advertised. The base is clear without any distortion. Very satisfied.

I really like this soundbar. I prefer to buy my soundbars from the same company as my TV's for easy setup and with HDMI ARC so that I can use one remote. This soundbar does not disappoint. It sounds great and gets very loud. I am not an audiophile but this soundbar sounds as good or better than some others I have owned that cost twice as much. The only issue I see with it is that with my Sony XBR850C 4K TV the volume numbers do not match. By that I mean that the soundbar says the volume is on 10 but the TV says 20.

The setup was super easy and the sound quality is great for a 2.1 system. Also this soundbar works great with my Tivo Roamio plus.

So far good. Just used it once and was easy to use with the new TV. The TV is amazing with this sound system. It is worth the money spent.

Put this with my new Sony 4K tv. Set up was very easy. It replaced a pioneer sound bar. Excellent sound. Very full sound.

It sounds amazing and is easy to install unlike the bigger system with all those wires yet very powerful and clear sounds.

Very happy with Blue Ray player. Easy to use and small enough to not take up much space. Wish Comcast could work as well.

This is a great sound back. Minimal design looks great anywhere. The sound is great from both the bar and the subwoofer.

We were able to connect the sound bar to the TV via the optical out port and cable. We were not able to connect our players via HDMI into the sound bar and use the HDMI ARC to connect those to the TV. The sound quality is good but have to turn the TV speakers down to 0 or the TV and sound bar produce and echo effect. We have to work on the balancing the sound bar and base speaker, but have not had time to do so.

This sound bar sounds really great. Watching movies on it is amazing. It does a pretty good job with the surround sound effect, and the subwoofer makes great deep sounds without any rattling. It has a lot of HDMI inputs, so if your TV only has a few inputs you can get 3 more out of 1 HDMI port on your TV. The soundbar also supports CEC, which means it turns on and off and changes to the right input automatically, and it can communicate with your TV and other devices.

This sound bar is almost perfect. Easy to set up, great sound depth. Visually great mounted on wall under the TV.

I love the quality sound and deep rich bass sound. Definitely a great buy.

Great sounding sound bar. The bass is deep and has no distortion. Crisp explosive action scenes and car chases.

I purchased the Sony sound bar to enhance the sound of my new Sony 4K TV. What a difference!! I easily connected the sound bar to the TV and placed the subwoofer across the room from the TV so that it is out of sight. The stereo sound is incredible. I love watching and listening to my two new Sony products.
