Sound quality detailed and excellent. Less separation, of course, than with speakers that are placed a distance apart. The subwoofer is built in. CD sound is full and rich as well.

I bought this sound deck to enhance the speakers of a 32" Sony TV in our bedroom. Big difference and it looks great. The Bluetooth audio sounds really good as well with the Sony app.

I'm so happy with his purchase. The sound system adds to the HDTV movie experience. I also use it as a home stereo by streaming Pandora on my phone and using Bluetooth to the Sony.

Look, it is what it claims to be, all the audio you will need for an apartment. We are not trying to have home theater, just make sure we can watch TV when our washer is running in the other room. This does the trick, and the audio sounds nice. Now, is it booming, does it keep consistent levels between channels or from TV to PS3 or video, can you have it on a low level and expect to hear it fine, nope. But it works for us

Purchased this unit for my office workstation setup. It's great to be able to listen to music while working and have the option of standing my monitor on top. The sound from the Sony XT1 is amazing! You can definitely hear much more vibrancy and instrumentation due to the range of the speakers and rumble from the downward firing bass. This one truly is one of the best single box systems I have ever heard!

We purchased this to go with our new Sony TV. The sound is amazing. I love the blue tooth option. I put music on from my iPod to clean the house and it is loud. Glad we got it!

Great little system and does exactly what it says it does. Easy to setup although you'll need HDMI only. Good sound and great sub built in. Best thing: no wires and compact. Returned a similar LG to get this one and it paid off. Good price too for the quality. Only negative: Bluetooth is good but not great and outside of 20 feet or so cuts out often.

Hard to program. would be better if it had a base, treble adjustment and others are not understandable. also does not come on when tv is turned on. you must turn with remote

I did not think it would matter to me to have the sound bar. But, I am pleasantly surprised by the richness and quality of sound!

My wife brought this sound system for me as a gift. I really like the level of sound that this system provides. My wife likes it because I don't have the TV on so loud!

Sound is decent but certainly not Bose or Sonos quality. Instructions/setup were pretty easy.. Overall a 7.5/8.0 on a ten scale.

It's not the loudest sound bar, but it's definitely loud enough for the room. The bass and sound are strong enough to feel a good vibe. Especially when listening to music.

Paired with my vizio TV where the back speakers are in a cabinet - had a little Sony 5.1 system - this blows it away!

This made a substantial improvement in our TV sound. It was particularly handy in our situation, as space was limited and it allowed us to put our flat screen on top of the sound system. My one complaint -- it took some trial and error to hook it up properly to our Fios DVR. The instructions were really lacking and even the on-line help was a puzzle for someone like me (not a tech geek).

Easy to get hooked up , takes awhile to figure out some of the features. It is versatile and you can adjust it to get the best sound for what you are watching.

The sound field options are good for music, movies, night mode (no boomy bass so you don't disturb people). Pairing is easy, and the app remote is convenient.

Really easy to hook up with hdmi cables no fancy interface computer screens to select or not good enough for the money just to replace the TV's speakers

Excellent sound, easy install!! I t was a correct fit for my television as stated by the clerk assisting us. She was correct in all her instructions.

This sound does improve the listening of programs a lot. It does help my parents to hear the TV better.
