Sound of this unit is half as good as Sonos Play 1 whilst occupying as much as three to four times the volume. The only time it kinda shines is during Dolby encoded movies or while streaming high-res audio files. The app was great at the begining before it changed to a pasty white sheet of paper controller. Lack of imagination matches that of Google eco system. Saving grace is the three HDMI inputs which works great with older HDTV's. If this was not a clearance I'd have a hard time getting this unit. If you can live with the fact that it does sound better than most TV speakers then this could be it.
