The Sony sound system (not a sound bar) is easy to connect and provides great sound at all volume levels. You might have to play around with the different sound types (movie, standard, etc.) to see which you like best, but this is a quality product at a low price.

The design of the unit is great however in terms of sound if you were to go with a sound bar most put out better sound on the other hand this is very compact and accommodates many different size TVs so all in all great sound great design and reasonably priced .

Purchased this soundbar for a Samsung 32" tv that came free with a Dell computer purchase because of the poor sound quality of the tv. Very pleased with the overall performance of this unit, especially the bass enhancement. Would definitely recommend!

My son was able to install this in a matter of minutes & my TV sound can be adjusted in many ways that I am still experimenting with it. It has a fabulous sound, and I am more pleased with this than an ordinary sound bar. The TV sits right on top of it!

New tv I bo has rear facing speakers. Very muddy sound. Saw this one piece unit with three HDMI inputs. Big selling point S I can run all my stuff through this. Easy to setup and easy to use. Sound is very clear with this unit. Light on bass but to be expected.

I just watched Straight Out of Compton and it sounded great. I did have some issues with Star Wars sounding muddled at high volume during a few scenes. I highly recommend.

i like that it has a built in subwoofer so there is only one piece. also, i like the size and that the tv can sit on top. sound is very good and i also like that it is bluetooth so i can use it with other devices for music.

I am very happy with this unit. Several of the Best Buy sales associates (even the Samsung rep) told me this was the best Sound Stand for the money. A word of advice, since this device is designed for the TV to sit on top, make sure the TV stand will fit reasonably well. NOW, here's the thing. I shopped for a TV and for a sound stand for several weeks before making a decision. When I started looking, this sound stand was on sale for $250. When I finally made my purchase, the sale was over and the price was $300. I ordered the unit thinking it was still $250. When I realized my mistake, I asked the sales associate if he could give me the sales price but he said that he could not. So I cancelled the order, went home, turned on my computer, and purchased the unit from Amazon for $248.

I bought a ZVOX Soundbase 450 first, but was very disappointed in the sound, so returned it and bought this Sony, and was immediately impressed with the quality and the sound of this product! Very highly recommend!

Love the sound that comes out of this sound bar. The enhanced sound is crisp and clear. Great for watching movies it makes them almost like you are in a theatre. The 43" Sony TV fits well sitting on the sound bar.

Love this unit. Absolutely excellent Quality, Sound and Appearance. Fit under my 50" TV with no problems. Very easy controls and excellent sound that rivals that of Bose. Just glad I didn't spend as much as a Bose unit.

System was easy to setup and is a major upgrade from standard television sound. Perfect for a bedroom or small to medium sized room.

Nice slim design. Love the fact that you can put your tv set right on top of this unit. Nice feature has the ability to choose sound options like movie, sports, music, etc. Still think it's a little on the pricey end.

The Sony 2.1 sound plate is a very good product for the price. The sound quality is an improvement over the Sony TV speakers which make it a necessary purchase.

Flat screen tv's do not offer the best sound systems. Living in an apartment presents challenges with loud neighbors. So, I decided to purchase this system. It doesn't require a lot of wiring nor does it eat a lot of space. Actually, the system is designed for placing a television on top of the box. I love the fact I can select sound modalities for gaming, night time, and movies. The quality is excellent - as one expects from Sony. This was an excellent purchase.

Sub woofer really increases background sounds I never got to hear before with regular TV speakers. Sound is more real and is much better. I don't have to turn volume up as high when watching movies from DVDs.

Sony does it again! I purchased along with the Sony 55 LED 4K tv and Best Buy match Amazons price. It was a good deal and I'm pleased with it. It looks really nice on media center and tv sits right on top.

I bought this to match my new Sony 4k ultra hd TV and yea it's amazing! Let me start of by saying that it's not the best product out there but for it's price the quality is great and definitely does the job!

This is something I would not have purchased but my husband wanted it. Once we got it I love it. The sound is great and being able to change the sound type when watching a movie or sports makes it even better.

Since our tv is on a stand this was a great option. Other bars would block the very bottom of the tv. The sound is ten fold better than the tv speakers. The extra hdmi ports are great. The sub woofer is built in which I think is a negative about the product. Sony should consider making this unit with the wireless sub woofer like there other bars. It's a great bar for my purpose.
