I bought the Sony HTXT1 sound bar because the sound coming from my new TV was weak, and I wanted a little more "oomph" without having to spend money on a home theater system. That definitely did the trick. I'm not a gamer, so I can't comment on how it sounds with games, but for watching movies and TV shows and for listening to music, I think it's fantastic! Also, the remote control is really cool.

This thing has some awesome sound to be so compact! Bass may not be loud as a normal subwoofer but it serves it's purpose. Overall it's well worth the money.

Great product for its price. Big, full sound, it sounds great in my living room, which is a small room and I didn't want an overpowering sound. Easy hookup.

It is nice to get a product that is easy to set-up right out of the box. Sound is very clear and volume can get quite loud for a mid-size room. Great alternative to a component sound system.

A long soundboard wouldn't have worked with my set up. This sound base was the perfect size and the sound is great. Just what we were looking for.

Great for the bedroom television because the bass is not as loud as the Bose The DVD player and cable box sits nicely on it without being cluttered

I was looking for a sound bar, I look at the boss and I didn't see the different between boss or Sony ,Sony had a better price I like my sound bar.

This Sony TV sound system is a high quality product. The Bluetooth capabilities make it easy to use sound for your TV, computer, or mobile devices.

The difference between the TV sound and the sound bar is just amazing. We are enjoying a much much better sound quality with movies especially.

For the value and in comparison to other similar systems within the same price point this is an excellent system. It has a sleek low profile and does not require a separate sub woofer. The sound is outstanding and fills the room well. Though not a complete surround sound system it provides excellent performance for the purpose and function it was designed for.

Sounds great much better than TV alone and good substitute for the home theater system. Great size, fits perfectly in my shelving unit.

I love my speaker stand, it easily connected to my note 4. The sound quality is great. Just wish a subwoofer could be added down the road.

I bought this as a replacement for computer desktop speakers. I currently have a Dell 27" monitor and a PS4 hooked up to it. It's wonderful, and a great space saver. It looks sleek on the desktop too. I like having the remote but I would like more controls on the top of the unit itself. It does have the toggles for the inputs, but it would have been great to just have the individual input buttons on there so you don't have to scroll through. A minor note. Overall very happy with the purchase and I've always been a huge Sony promoter.

I tried several different sound bars. The Sony is top on the list. Sound is great, options are outstanding. Totally happy with the sony

This is a great speaker for what it is and to be used for space saving, but don't expect to have earth shattering sound come out of it.

We purchasedon't this for our TV in the garage. It has great sound when kids are playing basketball or just sitting outside.

The sound is excellent and the set-up was easy. I recommend.
