480 hz and 4k it been good monitor to play on and play comp gamez

Awesome monitor with a very small stand that takes up minimal space. Super clear motion on games that can push the FPS, which are few. The only downside to me is the warranty, which is only a year. If you can find it on sale or open box, you can get the best buy protection for a great price. This option makes it a solid buy. Happy gaming out there homies and God bless.

[Employee of bestbuy] Got this monitor open box with a protection plan. Motion clarity is amazing.VRR on it is terrible, almost unusable, but at 480hz, frame time spikes are much more fluid as a frame of 480hz is like 2ms.

Monitor has a great stand and slim minimal design. The colors pop and the darks are truly dark. It can be a bit grainy and DP 2.1 is buggy at least on my 50 series card. The monitor’s settings aren’t as in depth as i’d like to see but Sony is close to making a great monitor.

[Employee of bestbuy] First OLED monitor I’ve owned and I’m very, very happy with it. The difference between IPS and OLED is huge, and if you’re considering making the switch I say do it. 480Hz feels unreal and the whole experience is just awesome.

Product is excellent. The OLED display makes the images display sharp and have significatly better contrast compared with LED, even with local dimming. HDR works excellently on this monitor.

Monitor looked and felt great. You do need a high-end graphics card to get the most out of it because with a 3080 I was never able to get the full 480 fps you would want to get. The lack of full DisplayPort 2.1 is what seemed to hurt this monitor the most because the back screens that happened when tabbing out of games were quite long, somewhere between 20-30 seconds every time. Overall it was a good monitor that seems to be in a weird place for the market. One of the 1080p 480hz monitors would probably be better for esports games players. While the 4k 240hz would probably be better for most other people.

Monitor is sleek and works well, but it’s $100 more than the ASUS and only has a one year warranty. Also keep in mind it’s tough to run just about anything at 480hz. I’ll be honest, for me it’s also a case of diminishing returns. I don’t see that much of a different over 240, but that could just be me.

Great little OLED monitor, super sleek design. Compact stand fits even a cluttered desk. Clarity and gaming performance are amazing.

the SONY monitors look amazing — super deep blacks, rich colors, and super fast for gaming. They just make everything pop. Great stand also and not bulky!

This monitor is absolutely beautiful. Everything just pops because of the oled technology. I play escape from tarkov a lot and the dark areas are no longer dark dark like on other monitors. I can actually see!

As of right now, this is the best monitor if you consider what it offers as a whole. The aesthetics is top notch with the slim bezels and monitor stand. The Inzone software helps adjust settings and update firmware without issues. The 2.1 DP port is not full speed but can't tell a different with DSC. Anything over 240 Hz seems to be marginal but depends on how much you game I guess. WOLED is better than QDOLED for me when it comes to eye strain. I disabled ClearType and the text fringing wasn't that noticeable for me who games and uses this monitor for work.

Awesome monitor if you catch it on sale. Easily the best stand of any monitor I've ever seen, and the 480hz is crazy smooth. Also, this uses the 3rd gen WOLED panel, so text clarity is significantly sharper than the first gen of 27" 1440p OLED monitors. Also has a few good software settings that aren't available on other monitors that use this panel. I really like the clean aesthetic, as there's nothing "gamer" looking about it, no logos, no rgb, and the bezels are crazy thin. Lots of complaints about DisplayPort 2.1 not being the full bandwidth, but I've been using hdmi 2.1 on this monitor and have had no issues and even no DSC related black screens when alt-tabbing out of a game.

Colors pop, enemies are clear at range, and even if your pc can’t run 1440p the 24.5 inch has you covered on lower end hardware

1440p, 480hz, OLED, what else needs to be said? The blacks are black, all the colors pop, this is hands down the greatest monitor I’ve had so far.

Incredible monitor for gaming - instant response, no lag! Make sure to use with a PC with DisplayPort to take full advantage of the performance. Amazing brightness and color rendering.
