Wonderful picture, and much lighter than older versions! Great price for what you get! Did have some problems connecting to all the things my old Sony was hooked to (not enough plugs), but still would recommend!

Tv start up is quick but makes you wait to access apps but i kinda considered it normal. Pic is great and you can find tweak helps online to customize even better. Internet connection hasnt dropped at random either. Only thing id change is if you use the headphone jack to receiver the tv still controls the volume. Makes it a little cumbersome balancing between both.

Great picture super light perfect for a wall mount

I have a PS4 and this TV works beautifully with it. Games have never looked as crisp and sharp. My only complaint is that on TV if you don't have it on HD Channels it doesn't have a good zoom to really fit. I don't watch a lot of TV so I didn't pony up for HD Channels and I know sometimes it gets frustrating when things move off the screen cause it's zoomed in. But great TV. I know Samsung is the top dog but I would argue this Sony is every bit as good.

I picked up this set on sale for use in our bedroom. It has not been connected to a cable or satellite source so all content is streamed online. My wife and have been very pleased with the overall picture quality and ease of use. The built-in apps respond pretty well with the included remote and almost everything you want is there. There are only a few downsides. There is some clouding visible at night on a mostly dark scene, and this has become more apparent over time. Overall it's minimal and as a bedroom TV it's of no real concern. Secondly there are some more obscure apps that I'd like to see such as PlutoTV, which is supported on the PS4 so I was disappointed to see it was not offered on the Sony TV, but again this is a minor quibble and I can always use the FireTV stick if I want that. Finally, there is about a 30 second warm-up time after the TV screen comes on before the smarl apps will load. A minor annoyance, but worth noting. Overall, I felt the set was a good value for the price paid.

This TV is a great size for my 20' X 15' room. It was simple to connect and integrate into my home system.

Great color easy to set up great for viewing sports

Great sized TV for a small room or bedroom with Internet capability. The pre-loaded apps are easy to use. There is a web browser but that's more difficult to navigate using a remote. My 2 complaints are - (1) the sleep timer function is buried in menus and isn't easy to find and (2) the apps take awhile to load after the TV starts...e.g., it takes a minute or 2 before you can use the netflix button on the remote, it's not instantaneously available.

I love everything about the TV! It connects via wireless and has a bunch of useful apps like; Netflix, Pandora, Hulu, and many others. The price was very good and I recommend this amazing TV for the value and its available content.

Great smart tv with a good sound, for a fair price

Purchased this for our bedroom, very impressed with the picture and sound quality after just a few weeks of use. The settings tweak provided by ratings.com are spot on, really enhance the factory settings. I cannot speak to the gaming picture quality, but the internet connection is pretty good - although we rarely use.

Purchased this TV to use in the living room after looking at several 32"-42" units. Picture is as good as or better than my Sony 55" in the game room. No pixelation on high action sports, great color separation. Factory speakers are weak compared to surround system, but adequate for a room with vaulted ceilings.

I have wanted a smart TV for some time & I am a fan of Sony products. This Bravia really fits the bill. The price was within reason, the picture is great, & the ease of operation couldn't be better. It actually teaches you how to use it. I would recommend this TV to anyone looking for a smart TV. The size is great for a medium sized room & the volume of the speaker is good when not using the surround sound.

Very pleased with this TV with excellent picture quality, tiny bezel and ultra thin. Value for the money is excellent also.

I've always bought LG, so when I decided to buy another TV I looked at the LG's, but this SONY smart TV was on sale for $399, so I said, what the heck, give it a try. I can't complain, the picture is crisp & clear, the internet features are great and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a 40 inch TV.

TV is used in my bedroom and it looks great. The picture is bright and clear and is easy to watch. The Wi-Fi was easy to set up and it's great for watching Netflix and other movie streaming apps. I've had this TV for 2 months and I love it.

Upgraded our bedroom TV to this 40 inch model. It's great right out of the box...not much picture adjustments needed. Only minor complaint is the audio out is only a headphone out mini jack. I would've liked a normal audio out with RCA connectors for hooking up to my older audio receiver.
