This is my first HD TV and I love it. Everything is so clear and sports are more fun to watch on HD. I checked on line for TVs for at least 3 weeks before I decided to purchase the one I finally got. I went to Best Buy because they had delivery and set up with a minimal charge and guarantee their work.

my 18yr old says its great with his PS4, enough said I guess, as teenagers rule the electronics world ! :) Picture & Sound look good to me but it was bought for him and he is impressed with it. I scored some major Dad points with this purchase

Great television for the price point. Great picture quality with good sound quality for my bedroom. Wish amazon instant video was available for it as well as HBOgo. It is on the tv but says check back later. great for mounting as it is thin and light. Overall very satisfied with the purchase.

This tv looks great in my living room. The picture is nice and clear. The refresh rate is high enough that when I watch the Avengers movie, the fight scenes are crisp and clear enough to enjoy it for what the producers wanted it to be. The sound could use improvement but we bought the Sony soundbar and we don't ever use the tv sound alone.

I've had this television set for about 3 months now and I've loved every second of it. From the crystal clear image to the staggering amount of supported apps all the way to the Netflix button on my remote controller -- this TV is amazing. Would definitely buy again for another room, perhaps larger.

We got this for our bedroom. It's large for the bedroom but the picture is clear, easy to use.

Extremely happy with this purchase. Looks beautiful, slim, lightweight, and full of apps. Great HD picture quality. I love being able to watch funny YouTube videos from my phone and beam them on to the TV in an instant. They just need to get a Spotify app on it now that Music Unlimited is dead.

I was looking for a 40-43" LED 1080p-120mhz. I wanted the Sharp only because it was cheaper. The store I went to was sold out the Sales Guy-Ryan was amazing and very helpful. I did spend about $100 more but I got a much better TV. Love it. Ryan was so helpful and had amazing customer service.

For mid-sized HD TVs, Sony provides great performance at a competitive price. Picture compared side by side with the Korean competitors showed slightly better (to me) performance. Unit was also recommended by Best Buy folks.

I'm a SONY fan and this 40" TV supports my trust. It has good color and in HD very crisp picture definition for a reasonable price. I found that a comparable Samsung TV, size and features, but it was pricer, so I decided on SONY and I'm satisfied. It was easy to set up and had no problems with setup.

I wanted at 40" smart tv. My choices were between Samsung, lg, Panasonic , sharp or vizio. This was priced at $449.00 not the cheapest or the most expensive. Only minus is no sleep button on remote. Pic quality and sound are great

I knew when I bought this it would be a great tv. All so y products are fantastic in my opinion. The picture quality on this tv is amazing and the smart apps are great built in.

Nice HD TV with many Smart TV Functions. Great picture viewing direct but color fades when viewed from the side. The WWW sites you can visit are limited. Quality of picture once properly set is very good. I used the Disney WOW BueRay DVD to make adjustments and it worked well. For the price it was a great value. I found using the builtin Netflix app great for viewing movies. There are many other app's available.

The picture quality of this TV is fantastic and is the main reason I kept it instead of returning it. However, the smart TV functionality leaves a bit to be desired. There is a limited amount of Apps on this TV and you can't add them like you can on your phone. Also, you're supposed to be able to access the TV from your phone and even though I downloaded everything on my phone to do this, the TV keeps giving an error message. I wanted to use HBO GO on this TV and the APP is not available even though I specifically told the salesperson that's what I wanted. You are essentially paying an extra $100+ for the smart TV functionality which is not worth it, so if I had it to do again, I would buy a Sony TV without the smart TV functionality.

This TV is as good as it gets. While not 'Super' high-def., the 1080 is very life-like and smooth. Since the majority of telecasts are still only 720, it is more than enough. I bought this for my Mom, who is late 70's, and she SET it up herself, including internet, Netflix, and DVR.

Really like the TV. Sometimes the audio is hard to understand, especially if music and dialog are going on at the same time. But that might be more the shows than the TV. Thus is my first flat panel and I'm really glad I got it. Great picture, especially if the show is broadcast in HD. Haven't done anything with the 'Smart' part of it, but sure do enjoy watching TV on it! Feel good about the Sony brand.

I purchased this TV on sale and it is all that I expected and more. I do have an older smaller Sony flat screen so I am used to the quality but the clarity of this TV is incredible. I also purchased this because of the size, I did not want the TV to take over the room. Great TV.

I have two other Sony Bravias and this one has worked as well as those. Really pleased with how well it fit in my entertainment center given that it is old and was designed for a square CRT TV. Easy to set up and use.

Great TV for the price. The menu is a little laggy but not bad enough to take away from the overall quality of the TV. As an added bonus Sony has an app on the Google play store that works as a remote for this TV.

I found and purchased this unit in the store and, after talking with a very knowledgeable salesperson, I decided it would be a great buy for my 10-year old. It has tons of Internet-service based options and was a breeze to setup. We are very happy with the Sony Bravia.
