This is a great tv and also my first smart tv. Everything works as it should and the picture is good. The only thing I don't like about these new tvs are the speakers being in the back or bottom. I purchased the Sony tv stand with the speakers built in and it sounds great.

YouTube app is great to search on your phone then play on the TV. Pandora app works well on TV. A lot of the other apps on the TV are more trouble than they're worth to use. News apps on your phone/tablet are much better. Satisfied with picture quality. Great for the price.

The Sony Bravia has a great picture, and the sound is just fine. My grandson made a few adjustments, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Since the Playstation Now was not the main reason for selecting this tv, I'm not concerned with the refresh rate. A great purchase,

I purchased this TV after looking at numerous different venues, including Comsumer Reports. I mounted the TV in my daughters bedroom two weeks ago and couldn't be happier with its performance. The picture is very sharp/clear, and the extra features just add to the value.

Something I have always appreciated about Sony is the quality of the scaler in their TVs. The other reasons I chose this tv is because of the number of legacy connections. I am not immediately upgrading my other a/v components and this tv has the connections I need.

I needed a new TV for a new living room that fit the space better, had enough inputs for the current consoles i owned, as well as space for more in the near future, and that wasn't going to break the bank. I settled on the 40-42 inch range, since the price jump to go bigger was more than i wanted to pay. I specifically looked at this, Sharp, LG, Samsung and Toshiba., and due to picture quality on the Sharp and LG and HORRIBLE sound on the Toshiba i was between the Samsung and the Sony. I have been SUPER happy with my choice. The Sony was easy to set up, with 4 HDMI ports and way better sound then i had expected for built in speakers. The blacks are true, and i have yet to see any artifacting or picture defects both in movies and gaming. Definitely worth the little extra money up front over the more budget brands.

Great picture and easy to use the smart tv functions but the sound is lacking

Excellent purchase. The TV is indeed smart with lots of apps. I stick to Netflix though. Response time is real good. Lots of ports and you can connect almost anything.

Even though I am quite picky when it comes to electronics, I was pleased in every aspect of this TV. Great product for a tough customer. It was easy to hook up, easy to set the settings on-screen and a pleasure to watch. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

I buy Sony for durability and long life... the picture is certainly not as bright as Samsung but is certainly clear, and the 60hz preform well, and the color is deep and immersive. The best aspect of this product is the connection to the internet and smart features. Lower refresh rate is acceptable and the price is prefect. You will need a sound product of some type, as with any LED TV the speakers are 5w, tiny, rear facing, disappointments.

I would classify this as a midrange TV due to fact that 4k is now available. It is a great TV for the price and until 4K becomes a true standard I would recommend staying with a good 1080 HD like this one

Picture quality is very good. This is our second SONY TV and we are very satisfied with both our new 40" and year old 65". This one replaces an older RCA Tube TV, which will be re-cycled at Best Buy and both my wife and I are quite satisfied with our new purchase.

Sony.. What else is there to say. Great Picture quality, great sound, great WiFi connection. I bought this for an additional TV for bedroom. I also have a Sony in my living room. Excellent buy for the $$$

As expected with a Sony, the picture is top notch. However, I was expecting the Smart apps to match the Android apps I have on my Sony XBR-75X850C..They're not. I'd rather have the Android apps. The Smart app engine also takes awhile to initialize (over a minute) when the TV powers on, which is a pain if you are in a hurry to select your app to start watching something.

Pros: TV pciture quality is excellent, Sound is good, Plays Youtube perfectly without a streaming box as it is gaming model. Cons: Bulky compared to other models, Take a lot of time to load Smart Apps, Remote does not have a backlight. Search is not intuitive, Apps are limited. Still not a bad TV to use.

This is an excellent TV. The picture quality is very good and the sound which comes out from the bottom instead of from speakers facing the wall makes it unnecessary to buy an additional speaker system.

Because of the volume issue I'd like to see a different configuration or wireless headset come with the TV. The picture is great and the ease of use is a ++ for me.

This is a great TV regardless of price. But when you take price into the picture its a home run. Can't go wrong with this TV! Perfect size for our bedroom.

We bought this as an upgrade to the TV we had in our bedroom. Our 4th Sony Bravia and this one is even more impressive than the last 3! Highly recommend!
