Initial bought for 400, then went to buy another and it was at 300. Has to be the Best Buy out there right now. Great picture, easy to use, great price!

Not that tech savvy but I know a good picture and sound when I see and hear it. All that you can ask for in a TV. You won't find anything like this at Target or Wal-mart. Price matched Amazon to boot.

Picture quality is beautiful..Hadn't bought a TV in years so I was very surprised with how lightweight and easy to assemble the stand, literally I just took it out of the box and plugged it in.

This Sony 40" smart TV is as good as advertised. We bought this for our business to used for streaming media and the response times are great, no buffering time lost. The picture is crispy clean (just in time for March Madness) and very colorful!

This TV has so many features it is unbelievable! It is just the right size for the room and is so loaded with features! We were able to set it up quickly and easily, so we were able to enjoy it right away. I would definitely recommend Best Buy for their customer service and Sony for this model.

This TV is awesome for the $400 price. I only buy Sony. Don't trust Korean technology, will never buy for myself. I love this TV. I would recommend to anyone looking for a TV under $500.

Im so glad to have done a bit of research after purchasing another Tv. I returned the other one because I just wasnt happy with the colors or the sound for that matter. When i went to return the other tv i went and stood infront of this sony and realized how much better the colors were compared to all the other brands. The colors seem to pop more and everything is much sharper, it was only when i brought it home that i realized the sound was amazing too, i mean this tv has bass!! Also, another huge pro regarding this tv is that the smart functionality is actually pretty quick. Unlike my previous tv which took for ages to open up any apps or even move through the menu. This one flies and has a lot of settings. Love this tv and it was good to be reminded of why Sony was and always had been one of the best brands!

The picture is of good quality, the sound is good for the speakers that is in it. The table mount stand supports the set on four (4) legs, it is not compatible to use on a wire shelving (which we had), but after re-arranging other components we were able to place the set on a solid surface.

I had been putting off purchasing new televisions for my kitchen and guest bedroom for quite some time, but once I visited Best Buy and saw the clarity of the Sony and Samsung televisions and took note of the great purchase price I couldn't walk away.

I got this set to replace my old one. Very happy with it I have it in my patio and the sound and picture is excellent. I already had Netflix so all I had to do is put in my Wi-Fi password.

My husband and I bought this TV for our daughter's birthday. Her old TV had gone on the blink. She loves the TV, and it's a perfect size as it fits well into a undercounter cabinet space .

After having the old Sony Trinitrons that had each lasted 20+ years I was finally ready to get an HDTV but wanted the same quality I'd had before. The picture is wonderful and shows well in bright day light as well as in the dark or with lights on in the evening. While it took a few days to figure out how to use the HD channels, that is not the fault of Sony. It was easy to assemble the stand and it worked perfectly right out of the box. I wasn't interested in making many connections to my computer or tablet, so I can't comment on those needs.

Always have been a sony guy since I've never been disappointed in the last 30 years and this set doesn't disappoint either.Tv shows look good and blurays look incredible some like Avatar look 3D even without 3D bluray version.

This tv was to replace another brand which had terrible sound. From past experience I KNEW this would be a great purchase, and I was not disappointed at all! BEAUTIFUL HD picture quality, and excellent sound. I'll not purchase any other brand.

This TV was what I expect for an Sony product; high quality and performance. the colors are neat and clear; the best is the idle power feature, no worries any more that the tv stays on all night; automatic shut off when none is whatching

I had an old analog TV and it finally died a happy death. I went to Best Buy looking for another Samsung. Instead I saw the beautiful picture demonstrated on the Sony Bravia 40 inch TV and knew that it was perfect for me. I was right. This is a great smart TV set and I recommend it to all. I have WiFi and am all set up with Netflix and Amazon Prime videos. Truly a 5 star TV.
