I bought this TV for my wife in our bedroom and it is amazing! The sound and picture are incredible. It was easy to hook up and it is so light to deal with when assembling. I got a great price and I am a big fan of Best Buy. Get one! Jack M.

What a pleasant surprise! This was recommended by a store staff member and I never considered this in my list of possibilities. Like the smart tv features and its wrlss card is for both 2.4 and 5.0ghz. It is synced up with my sony surround receiver and did so automatically. it will turn on or switch automatically to the input on the sony dn850 when I turn on any device hooked up to the receiver and will switch to the surround system speakers, bypassing the tv spkrs, . Colors POP and plenty of adjustments and settings. Excellent picture and I am very happy with it. Hooked right up to my wrlss network. Samsung was out of the running because it can sometimes be difficult hooking up to Comcast wireless networks without changing port settings, security, etc. and calling in to Comcast wrlss support. Wonderful tv.

Very pleased with quality of television. Using it for spare bedroom. Great size for use. Bright colors, clean and crisp. I always expect a quality product from Sony and they always deliver. Paired it with Sony soundbar, sounds great!

My tube TV finally died. Yes! Did some research and went to Best Buy. Very knowledgeable associate. Purchased the TV and have been highly satisfied. Smart TV. Easy to navigate. Great picture. Love it!

Got this unit for use on the porch. The mat finish of the screen works well at reducing glare from all the windows. Picture quality is great. Smart features are straight forward to use. After the initial software update I had no need to make adjustments to the picture settings. Connected to my home WIFI network easily and has maintain a steady connection. Motion is handled well, no problems on things like Football or Nascar. The bezel is really small which allowed me to place it in then corner of the room without having it sit way out from the wall.

Had a very set space for a new TV (old TV died) and this was one of the very few that fit perfectly. It has a very nice picture quality and was a very reasonable price. Meets all my requirements.

This Sony 40" Bravia LED has perfect color. I thought the refresh rate would not be high enough for sports but it is just fine. The TV also has plenty of HDMI inputs as well as component and composite inputs for an older video player, a VCR, for example. The picture is so clear I have it in a small bedroom and I am only 10 feet from the TV. This is also a smart TV and the apps are very easy to find and navigate and collect into a favorites group. The network connection was very easy and obvious. No need for a manual with this TV.

This Sony Bravia TV has an excellent picture and features for the price range. Bought this for the bedroom and it is perfect for that type of space. Internet features and smart apps make it very useful for streaming Netflix, Hulu, Crackle, etc for movies or TV shows from online content libraries. The processor could be a little faster, but can't complain for under $400 bucks. The only CON... Wish it had HBO Go as one of the apps, but other than that, this was a great find. It has easy to choose picture & sound "Pre-sets" for different program viewing like Sports or movies with lots of fast moving action. Sony does it right!

This was replacing an older TV roughly the same size but WOW was it a space-saver and so LIGHT! I couldn't believe the awesome picture quality. Very happy with this purchase!

Great quality, and very easy to set-up. Slim frame makes for a non intrusive, wall mounted design. Color and sound are good as well.

This was a gift for a friend and he was thrilled to upgrade to his first HDTV. This not only provided enough hdmi outputs to support his PS3, Blu Ray Player, and sound system, there was an extra slot to spare for cable if he ever decided to get cable. Samsung was the other choice and it supplies only two hdmi outputs which would support his ps3 (blu ray player) and sound system. Though cable in the future might make for a pressing decision. Regardless, the interface with the smart functions are easy to use and the picture is outstanding. Overall is very pleased and would recommend to anyone looking for a smaller and practical tv.

I read the reviews and did my research, and I intended to go with a cheaper standard 40 inch TV until I talked to a salesperson about the benefits of being able to stream, etc. So I went back home and did more research and read more reviews and selected the Sony - Bravia - 40 Class (40 Diag.) - LED - 1080p - Smart - HDTV - Black. I am very happy that I chose the Sony - Bravia - 40 Class (40 Diag.) - LED - 1080p - Smart - HDTV - Black that I bought 2 one for downstairs and one for upstairs.

The Sony Bravia works well and the picture is clear. One downside is the volume. You will need to turn it up to hear the dialogue more clear. That can solved with a soundbar. The biggest downside is the lag time from the remote. It will take several seconds for a response upon starting up. After the TV has been on a for while, the lag time for response drops off. Since this is not my main TV, it has not been a big issue, but it could be for others. Hopefully there will be an update to improve this feature.

I had a 32-inch Sony from 2011 and looked at LG, Samsung and Sony for a 14x18-foot living room. The 40-inch W600 punches way above its size - a big bright corner to corner picture without all the UHD bells and whistles. Sound is big and tone is good; frame is narrow so picture jumps off the screen. Internet, Netflix and web content easy to access. Not one complaint and great value.

We went to Best Buy to shop for a second TV for the bed room, and looked at several 32 inch models that were in our budget. We came across this Sony 40 inch smart TV that was only a few dollars more than the ones we were looking at and knew right then that this was the one. It is our second Sony and can't be beat. Easy setup, great picture, and sound, and also came with mounts that will let you hang it on the wall without buying another bracket. Love this TV!!

Price to quality ratio is fantastic for this awesome 40". Great picture right out of the box. The very thin bezel design is quite nice. The stock speakers are not adequate at all but then we don't care because we're using external audio system. Setup was easy. Within just a few minutes we browsed through all the many apps, setup WiFi and were able to log into Amazon Prime and stream a movie. Cannot really think of anything that could be a negative at all. So, 5 stars it is. Hopefully it'll prove reliable but just in case we bought a 5-Year Geek Squad Protection Plan.

An excellent TV for gaming. Tons of picture options, great picture quality, and nice built-in features. At this price, you can't go wrong.

Out of the box easy installation, great picture and you get the legendary Sony quality at a great price. The salesperson who assisted my wife and I was very helpful and gave us a fair comparison before we settled on the Sony. This included passing along the fact that, while 4K is the current state-of-the-art, the limited programming in that format says it is better to wait on purchasing the next generation. Glad we did. We found a nice piece of furniture to sit the TV on and now my wife enjoys it as an addition to her studio.

Really happy with this TV. Great picture, sound and smart features. Simple to use right out of the box. I would purchase again and recommend.

Nice Sony picture. Stable metal stand. Light weight. Easy hookup. Need to download the manual for settings adjustment. Quick start guide poster may not be enough.
