As advertised. Easy set up and did not have to adjust anything.

I've been shopping TV's for the past year to replace an older LCD for my bedroom, which had no HDMI inputs. It was between Vizio, Toshiba and this Sony. I went with the Sony because it had the better picture and sound than the competition. And the fact that I got it at a great price ($350), otherwise it would've been the Toshiba. I like that it doesn't have the funny 120 or 240 Hrz gimmick, and has 60 Hrz, thus no fake looking picture. Colors are vibrant and have nice pop to them. The LED screen is also very bright, and this set is feature packed with many streaming choices,as well as settings; including Sony PlayStation, if one wants to go that route. It has "4 HDMI" connectors, and a USB, which was a big plus. And setup for wireless was flawless. My only con is the start up, takes a moment for it to actually boot; I guess due to the fact of it being a Smart TV. Other than that it's great; picture is amazing, and sound isn't too bad for these newer, slimmer LCD/LED sets.

I would buy this TV again!!! The setup and smart settings were very easy. The picture is A+

I was looking for a good TV to play my ps4 on and watch Netflix. My last TV was ok but I wanted better. I'm very happy with my purchase.

This is got to be the best tv I ever owned picture sound quality ,is awesome for the price that it sells for,very happy with my purchase.

This tv has a very nice picture but is a little pricier than the comparable Samsung model. It does have an external phone jack for people to listen to, particularly in cases where they have difficult hearing.

I really like the picture and size of the screen. Unfortunately, it was too wide for the space where I needed to put it and I had to return this tv. Best Buy was great with processing the return and my refund.

I've been a Sony fan for too many years to mention. And again the inexpensive 40" didn't fail my choice. Great picture like always.

This is a great step up from my old 24" tv and is just right for my living room which is about 11 feet wide. The stand seems a little wobbly but I haven't had any problems with it so I guess its not an issue.

This is a great product. Extremely sharp picture quality. There is no instruction manual to help you with operating the Smart TV. This is a great TV but not knowing all its abilities is quite frustrating.

Typical Sony TV. Beautiful picture. Excellent colors. Unlike competition, a strong base.

We are using this as a second TV for the bedroom and it works perfect. Nice internet connectivity and I think the picture looks great.

The clerk recommended this tv because he had one in his home and we agree! It is a really clear picture and great TV for the price!

Longtime Sony fan, but always felt they were too pricey. This model had a great competitive price for the features and Sony Quality!

TV is a great choice- only regret is that it doesn't stream sling otherwise works great!

I have previously purchased a 46" Sony Bravia TV, and love it. I had to replace another TV, so this Sony Bravia 40" is perfect!

First time owning a smart tv and I must say I like it. Everything I need is on the tv.

Very good picture and sound . Had few problems setting up and Operating all programs but had to get new control box from local TV provider. Works fine now? Believe I purchased unit at a competitive Price.

The picture quality of this Sony TV is excellent. I highly recommend this brand of TV.
