My Sony tv gets a great picture, was east to set up, the price was good because it was on sale.

Nice picture. Easy to set up. Works well. Remote control is not quite as user friendly as I would like. Overall quality is up to Sony standards. Recommended purchase.

I purchased this 40"Sony Bravia LED TV to replace a Samsung 40" LCD that started having "black screen" issues. I have only had it for a month but am very happy with it so far. It was fairly easy to set up, picture and color are crystal clear-looks like a photograph, remote is user friendly and you can get Netflix with a click of a button. It was very easy to connect to my wireless network. Would highly recommend this TV.

Beautiful picture, wonderful features and easy to set up.

We replaced an analog TV in the family room with this unit. It is very light and easy to set up. We have it on the stand that was included. The TV was easy to get operating, including connecting it to our wi-fi. All you need to do is follow the onscreen instructions.

What a fine, fine tv. I purchased this tv a week or so ago and I couldnt be happier with it. Bought it solely as a gaming tv to use with my PS4 in my little man cave. Looks better than my 60" plasma in the other room. Colors are brighter, great refresh rate, just an overall stunning picture. Also, the smart home screen has a great layout and is much quicker and easier to navigate than my aforementioned plasma's smart home screen (LG). Theres also an app you can get on android or ios to function as a remote for the tv. Swiping around on your phone screen is like telling the tv up, down, etc. on the remote. And the tv actually responds faster to the app than the remote, so it's pretty nifty. Its called TV SideView, free. Made by Sony. And I just want to say the brushed metal stand looks really nice. Great design. Super slim bezel, thin and light.... I can't think of one bad thing to say about it. You should buy one

First Smart TV for us. Very easy to use and quality of sound and picture are very good. Hope to get many years of use out of it. Price was very reasonable also. Sales associates are all very friendly and seem knowledgeable to the questions I had for them.

The TV' great! Nice picture, very light weight. My only complaint is the Sony decided to change the usual mounting holes on the back for the wall mount & I had to buy a different mount / bracket set up, even though the old mount had 2 different Sony's on it before! Otherwise, an awesome TV for a 40 " LED TV!

Lots of folks are buying 4K UHD TVs without much content available and cable operators are starting to charge extra for high data usage. Heck, 8K TVs are available now too. We do have a much larger, notably more expensive Sony 4K UHD TV. My trained eye can appreciate the difference between our 2 TVs. I generally believe for 40" or less at normal viewing distances, you'll probably be hard pressed to see any meaningful differences between HD and UHD. Pocket the substantial savings and go with this beautiful set. It's sleek, solidly built, easy to maneuver, and works great with PlayStation 3 and 4. The Netflix instant access button on all the Sony remotes work flawlessly and keeps the kids smiling. HDMI connectors are easy to plug into the cable box, delivering a great picture. Redbox DVD rentals look fantastic. Very happy with the speakers for normal everyday use. If I were to want anything different, it would be what we all want ... auto-mute those dang loud commercials. Very happy we bought this TV at a great sale price.

Normally not a led fan but this one works well. Replaces squire old Insignia on antenna in very rural area that signal dropped out often on most channels. The Sony brings in many channels with infrequent drop outs. Great picture without soap opera effect on the Korean makes. Smart Tv and options work well

We got this to replace a Samsung 32" TV which had the equivalent of a bad motherboard. Sony TVs are still best in class in my opinion, and this new 40" is no exception. Great picture, easy to set up and connect to the Internet. In comparing longevity v. Samsung (granted this is just one data point), we have a smaller Sony in our bedroom that's over 10 years old and still working fine.

We purchased this TV to replace an older Sony Bravia model that did not have SMART capabilities and are absolutely thrilled with the decision. The picture is fantastic, the look is sharp and the value you receive for the price (especially if you catch a sale) cannot be matched. I highly recommend this TV.

Obtained this TV on sale and it has performed exactly as expected. It was simple and easy to add to my home wifi system. Picture quality is excellent, controls are easy to use, and fits my requirements for a wall mounted TV in the bedroom.

I am very satisfied with this television. The set up was easy and the picture quality excellent. I was able to connect it to my Sony DX-CDV 375 home theater system (old school) and it works perfectly. I am extremely happy with the quality for the price paid. Got this on sale and couldn't be happier.

We bought a 65" Sony Ultra HD television about a year ago and really like it. When I wanted a new tv for my home office, I stayed with Sony since the remote controls are the same for both televisions. Plus I really like the quality of this 40" HD television. And the price was very competitive with other brands. I am very, very pleased with this television.

This tv is more than I needed. It is rated for a gamer, but I got this unit on a good sale. We have enjoyed it very much. It is so easy to setup provided you have setup items like this before because the instructions are horrible. Once you have it setup there are great digital instructions. Netflix is a snap. Had it for a month now and no problems what so ever.

Very good product. Great picture and easy to set up and use the smart features. I've been a lifelong Sony TV person and have a CRT TV 27" (18yrs old) that this will replace. I needed a nice quality picture for replacing the CRT TV in my bedroom and this one will fit the bill nicely.

The Sony Bravia 40" has good clarity and color, sharp image and the sound is better than I thought it would be. Quite pleased with my purchase and would recommend it to others thinking about buying one.

Good tv for games and movies. First smart tv in the house. Sony is a trusted brand and you can't go wrong with this one. Great picture straight out of the box. Easy set up. The next bedroom tv I buy will be this same one or the newest model. This is the 3rd Sony tv in the house.
