Bought this tv to replace and older Vizio tv. What a difference! Great picture and good sound with built-in speakers. Built-in apps for Netflix and Amazon Prime are great. My only complaint is with the remote control which ( like many others) is confusing to use.

We hung it in the bedroom and it dominates everything we could need. Picture looks great. It's smart enough into know what input is active and auto switch, which is great when paired with a new Apple TV. Great tv.

So far so good only had it a month. I wish these newer tvs had computer monitor and audio hookups so its easier to run a desktop on the tv at least they make converters. It takes a minute to power up to switch between inputs. No big deal. Super light weight. Great picture. Good sound. Hopefully this will last a long while.

Grabbed this on a price match with Amazon. Picture is outstanding and smart functions work flawlessly. This is my first Sony and I am impressed with the simple functions, easy remote, and overall quality.

Needed to replace an older tv in a room and went with the Sony based on a recommendation from a friend who also recently purchased the same model. Picture quality was great, 4 HDMI inputs, remote was responsive. Add to that the "Smart" features and you get the bang for the buck. Love this tv and don't regret paying more.

Walking into the store I knew I was looking for a 1080p, 120hz, dreaming for a Smart TV but realized I was either looking too small for the space or I was out of my price range! I had narrowed it down to this Sony and a comparable 48" - I was so lucky I actually asked for help because I almost purchased the wrong TV! This Sony has an incredibly crisp picture quality - I watched Walter Mitty on it and the colors were magnificent! I can't wait to see how Avatar looks! It's thin, the base is light-weight, durable and nearly invisible and for the first time I am not staring at the fingerprints in the dust on my TV base - now it's just the table. I was looking at also needing to get a DVD player with wireless so I could get to my netfix but surprise!!!! this TV has wireless built in with a netflix button the remote. I have been so pleased with the immediate features that I haven't even explored any of the other App pages but I am sure there are plenty I will want to use in the near future. My only complaint is the speakers which they told me I would not be thrilled with before I left the store. For your 15 x 20 or smaller bedroom - they are just fine and I never went above 40; however, once I moved it out to the living room we needed to plug in some basic speakers. All set up and I have ZERO regrets with this purchase.

I really enjoy this TV. This is my first experience with a SmartTV, and it's been wonderful. The quality of the picture and the services offered by this Sony TV is exceptional. It was definitely a good decision, especially for the price!

Excellent Tv with a fantastic picture quality, very clear natural colors, feature rich way beyond its price point easy setup. A pleasure to watch tv on this set, no eye fatigue, just a great tv all round. Would recommend to all friends and family.

This is it, this is the one you should buy. It has awesome color, contrast, and clarity. Perfect TV for a small space like an apartment or a bedroom. The built in playstation games are an awesome bonus. Sound quality is slightly above average, although I would use an external audio solution if you can.

The picture is very, crisp with vivid colors. The only component that could be better is the remote. My older Sony had a complete keyboard which was nice to be able to key in the letters. With this remote, you have to use the arrow keys which is very slow for me. Overall, I am very happy with the unit.

I used to buy Samsung TVs almost exclusively, but I just couldn't get a satisfying picture on the last one I bought. I'm not overly picky about perfect color, but the picture was way too washed out, even after tons of fiddling with the settings. The Sony is really slick. I didn't need a smart TV since I have several streaming devices, but I did need 4 HDMI inputs and USB, which the Sony had. After using it for a while, I found myself using the smart features more and more since it was more convenient than firing up yet another device. The smart menu system is pretty good, but takes a few more clicks than I would like. The Netflix experience on the Sony isn't quite as good as my Roku, but it's by far the best of any other smart TV I tried. The color on the set is fantastic with almost no adjustments necessary. Just so you now there is no tilt adjustment on the stand, but I have no issues with that. It's a very nice looking TV for the price with a slim, but not non-existent, bezel, the U-shaped stand, and a relatively thin profile. I'm very happy with this purchase.

TV weighed *way* less than I expected, which made it even easier to unpack and set up in my living room. Part of that is the power is derived from a brick rather than a transformer inside the product. Manuals and setup were quite straightforward and easy to follow. Total elapsed time from unboxing to enjoying the new features of my first Smart TV was about 15 minutes! Although this TV uses WiFi to connect to the internet, I opted to use a CAT5 cable because the range extender is also in my living room less than 10 feet away. I've always had an excellent experience with Sony products, and this happens to be my first Sony TV.....I'm quite pleased and satisfied.

Excellent choice. The picture is crisp and colors are true; especially the white (not blue). Sound quality is also better than I expected. Installation and setup was easy. Wifi setup was also very easy, and I like the interface.

I've been searching for a new TV to upgrade for my old 40" LED 720p TV. This Sony Bravia 40" SMART TV has an excellent picture and the smart function works flawless. I would recommend this TV for the quality & functionality.

This is the first flat screen I,ve owned. Overall very happy. Found it easy to set up. The features are pretty good. If you're looking for a TV that can help you replace cable etc this is a good option. Picture qaulity seems pretty excellent. Love the sound quality. overall love it!

Really am pleased with my new Sony 40 inch tv. It fits perfectly in the space I had available, was easy to set up and add Netflix to it. My smaller tv was a sony too. Sony makes great products and very reliable. I am a pleased owner and expect it will give me years of service.

Great resolution for a great price. This unit is sturdy but very light weight, making it easy to install and move (if necessary). And the set up was a cinch. The instructions are clear and concise, with many alternatives (depending on your desired attachments). I highly recommend it.
