This TV is packed with features I was looking for including the smart apps like amazon and netflix, 1080p, and 4 HDMI inputs. The picture is great and the sound is good enough to not need a soundbar. If you can find a sale on this TV you won't be disappointed in your purchase.

The colors on this television are bright and crisp and the sound is really good. I love that I can get to Netflix and my other apps so easily. I feel like I got a quality television for the money I spent.

All around awesome tv,if you have other sony products you only have to use one remote. The picture quality is fantastic, the overall operation of the tv is very user friendly. However the only downside is the sound quality,but that is to be expected with a flat screen.

The only thing I don't like about it is how long it takes to "power on". Takes WAY longer than necessary. I guess I don't like how long it takes to think in general sometimes, but I don't know how much of it is because of the quality of my WiFi connection. I don't have a great connection sometimes. I have it in a super tiny space so I don't need a sound bar. Good picture quality.

The Sony Bravia TV has satisfied us beyond our expectations. It is user friendly which afforded a very easy set-up. The picture is beautiful, sharp and clear with good color tones. Highly recommend this model.

I read many reviews on many models and brands, but Sony has always been a brand I trust. The image comparison in stores proved the best quality picture. Color is sharp and bright. I do not have home internet, so the Smart tv is not a feature I get to test out.

Got this to replace a clunky, giant CRT tv in the bedroom. Wish I had done so sooner. The picture quality is great, setup is easy. It found my wireless network easily and connected to it without much hassle. (I need a better router.) And it's a Sony. Very happy.

This TV has a great picture and excellent sound. The price was the best part paid around $450 for it. It also is a smart TV so the additional channels (Netflix, Pandora, etc.) you can access through the TV are a great plus. Most of them are free access channels.

Bought this TV as a Christmas gift for my hubby. He loves it and so do I. The smart TV features allow hours of stimulating apps especially once connected to the house wifi. Will purchase a larger one for our living room in about 3 months. Easy to connect TV.

I didn't think we needed a smart TV, but now that we have one, I love it. It easily connects to Amazon Prime, Netflicks, etc. through our home wifi network. The picture is clear and it's easy to set up. We've had it for about four weeks and so far, it's been great.

We have a 65" Sony 4k in our living room, and it is fantastic, but we need a much smaller unit for our bedroom, and this Sony Bravia fit the bill at 40 inches. It fits perfectly on the small TV we used for our former 32" TV. The Sony's 1080p picture is terrific, sharp and colorful-- far better than the previous house brand TV we had). The Sony has plenty of HDMI ports, so I was easily able to hook up a BluRay player, a Roku box -- and soon I'll add an Apple TV. In my opinion, Sony sets the standard for TV quality. My wife, who usually complains when I spend money on tech and gadgets, also appreciates the sound and picture excellence. I'm very pleased with the TV's performance and with Best Buy's price.

I wanted to replace an old Insignia flat screen and looked at various models in the 40 inch range. The Samsung and Sony models were close, but I gave the Sony a slight edge on picture quality and features. Installation was easy including network setup. Great TV.

Bought this to fit in an older entertainment center designed for Tube TVs. Was glad I could find something that would fit without looking dinky. Easy to set up and good quality. On sale too! I have two other Bravias and hope to have the same long term success.

Excellent, easy set up, works great. Only a few nits: 1) It requires a media server in order to access your personal media over a network; my previous experience with LG networked products was that they could see shared files directly and one could browse the directory structure with no need for a media server running. This TV can't do that. Fortunately a lot of storage devices now have a built-in media server, so not such a big deal. 2) The browsing function for the media player does not include a "search" option; if you have a lot of media, it can get annoying to scroll through to find what you want. 3) There are a few apps that I would have really liked to see included, particularly IHeartRadio (to allow receiving of local & internet radio stations). There are really minor issues. It's a great product.

TV works well with HD cable box, PC, Netgear Readyshare and other inputs. This model has good color, sound, easy setup. The price was right and we've had good experiences with Sony Products . 5G Wifi connection needs to be reset fairly often, this could be due to WPA2 encryption on our network otherwise works well with no lag. A firmware update might resolve this issue.

Very easy to hook up, light weight, and a good picture for the price!

This Sony TV was reasonably priced for the top quality, clear, sharp picture that it provides.. Set up was very easy. Salesperson was very helpful and knowledgeable and expressed a sincere interest in assisting me and answering all of my questions.

Love the fact that it has smart technology. Use it all the time to watch my netflix. Very easy to use. Beautiful picture.

Great picture and built-in applications. The sound isn't the best but for the size and price of the television it is not bad at all. Build quality is superior (sturdy stand unlike some other flimsy stands I've come across on cheaper televisions). UI is intuitive and well thought out.

This is a great bedroom television. It has an excellent picture, beautiful color, and I love having a netflix button. I would definitely recommend purchasing this high quality TV. One thing I would suggest though is buying a sound bar with it.
