Tv had a very clear pictue, nice size for the room we have it in. My only complaint is that the sleep timer is hard to set you have to go through many steps in order to set it up great tv for the money

Easy set up and use. Given limited 4K content I went straight to Netflix and House of Cards to test the picture. Not disappointed. Connection and setup was easy. Easy interface to adjust settings.

So where to begin? I bought a the 1080p model first was debating on whether or not to go 4k, my buddy bought a 65 inch Samsung 4k. Once I seen the beauty of it in his home , I had to go 4k. So I took back the 1080p model and bought a Samsung 50 in. 4k. Then watched it for a few days decided It wasn't up to par. Took that back and found out it wasn't a true 120 hertz refresh rate which is what I think was my big issue. And once I again talked to a best buy associate and found out that at this size the only brand with a true 120 hertz refresh rate is Sony. And I'm glad I listened. Love this TV. If you game watch sports and love movies this TV is well worth it.

We bought this TV at the Black Friday Sale Event , Price and Quality wise it is great. We do love the google tv, it has a nice screen and definitely great for netflix 4k movie viewing

Gets some glare off lights in the room but other than that its a sweet tv.

The more I use this television the more I like it. I have had it for over a month now. Great picture with natural colors. I prefer the "standard" picture mode. I do not care much for the extreme vivid settings that are not life like in my opinion. Whatever you prefer there are several picture settings that can be adjusted and also a complete custom setting. No problems with Android system or start up and updates. Processor is plenty quick and snappy with no or minimal lag. App menu is easy to navigate. No regrets buying this tv.

This is the third 49" television I have owned to fill the same space in my den. The picture no matter what the input I am using or the angle I am viewing it at is simply amazing! Like others mentioned the initial setup and firmware update via the internet is time consuming even on my 50MB connection, but the end result is worth the wait. When I update the television in my larger living room I will be looking at the larger version of this Sony first.

THE SONY TV ARRIVED ON TIME AND THE GEEK SQUAD HAD IT UP AND RUNNING IN GOOD TIME. THE SETUP PROGRAM DOES TAKE SOME TIME TO DOWNLOAD FROM SONY. WE HAD TO REPLACE A TOP LINE 5 YEAR OLD TV AND THIS SONY EXCEEDES OUR EXPECTATIONS COMPARED TO THE OTHER BRAND. UNLESS YOU ARE GOOD WITH SETUP PROGRAMS, IT MIGHT BE BEST TO HAVE THE GEEK SQUAD DO THE SETUP BECAUSE THERE ARE SEVERAL LEVELS OF SELECTIONS THAT YOU HAVE TO ENTER SPECIFIC INFO REGARDING PICTURE QUALITY, SIGNAL SERVICE, AND OTHER DETAILS THAT ARE NEEDED TO COMPLETE THE SETUP. OVERALL WE ARE VERY SATISFIED WITH THE SONY 4K ULTRA HI DEF TV. GREAT SALE PRICE ALSO.

It was first time buy the 4K TV and Sony Brand. First of all, the picture quality is very good and the motion quality is excellent. Maybe it is better than other brand on motion quality. It is very good especially on playing game or watching sports. There are few things that I don't like. 1. the android OS and application operation. Sometimes it was clashing 2. Definitely, if you want to enjoy sound of moive, please buy other sound bar or speaker But overall, I am very satisfy with this model

One of the best tvs hands down the 4K looks amazing I don't see any major problems with glare or anything with that would recommend this tv to anyone looking for a new tv

I really like the picture Quality and the fast response. Being a smart tv is adding another value. Being able to play games makes it the best no need for a playstation.

Great picture quality. TV is very easy to install via HDMI inputs, and the picture settings are easy to adjust. Highly recommended.

I did not read reviews on this television beforehand, and was surprised how the technologies that go into TV's have changed since I last purchased a flat screen. The salespeople were very knowledgeable at Best Buy, as they always are, and I was convinced that the purchase I made was a good one and that 4K Ultra was the way to go. I bought this primarily to pair with a PS3 and PS4 for gaming, and am not disappointed. There are an incredible number of inputs on this television, and when paired with a decent AV Receiver there is little you will not be able to accomplish in terms of home theater with this screen.

Amazing quality, reasonably priced, love all the smart features built into the tv.

the stand for this tv is not very stable - without anchoring to wall I feel it is wobbly on the stand- picture is good and smart tv is user friendly

We are enjoying this TV so far. However, we moved up from an old full size 30" set, so our expectations were pretty low. The TV works well with my son's WiiU - graphics seem sharp and moves well. We may end up purchasing a sound bar - we had our old TV sound wired through the stereo, so the sound on this set is not up to my standards. We have not yet explored a lot of the features as we need to upgrade our current cable box - the TV picture is bad now, but will improve with the upgraded box. Nice size on the TV - not so big that we feel overwhelmed. Overall, we are happy with the purchase.

We bought one of these, had some issues initially with it dropping frames, swapped it for a downgrade, and then re-acquired the UHD tv. Don't believe it when they tell you there's no reason to get a 4K TV. There may not be a lot of content broadcast in 4K, but the TV compensates for the lack of 4K signal by algorithmically filling in the differences. The extra pixels are there, and the picture is really outstanding. The Internet capabilities are better than we expected, and navigating the menu isn't too difficult. We've wound up watching more on-line content than cable broadcasts.

The Samsung has a great clear picture. Smart Tv is easy and connects automatically to my Samsung sound bar. Just wish I had a background come on to the TV when choosing the apps- I don't have cable. Maybe I haven't figured it out yet.

I had looked at the new Samsung 48" SUHD but opted for this Sony because it was $500 less for a 49" and the picture quality was incredible. Samsung has the nano crystal, Sony has Triluminous technology. I think they are comparable, though I understand that Samsung has a broader color spectrum. Lots of apps, including PlayStation now, though the monthly subscription for that feature is around $20, or you pay to rent the games for several hours. Hooked up to a Marantz receiver and Samsung Blu Ray with 4K upscaling, all controlled by a Harmony Touch remote. I couldn't be happier.

I had my suspicions buying this TV due to the mixed reviews, but installation and setup was a breeze. The TV connected to my WiFi on the first try and there have been no signal drops. The Android TV interface is very good. The available apps are sufficient and google is updating the android TV platform on a regular basis with new apps, so no glitches or system errors. The picture and sound quality are excellent. This is a great gaming TV too, i connect it with my PS4 and the experience is good. The inbuilt chrome cast is another plus. On the whole i'm loving this TV.
