People mentioning the backlight issue, it is fixed with the new update. TV looks great in every picture mode, and especially if you're a gamer, the gaming mode is amazing. TV does upscale very nicely, overall a great 4k and on the cheaper side.

Bought the TV got a great price and it works great. I opened a Best buy credit card account and got an extra 10% off my first purchase, even better, I thought. But unlike a Lowe's card which gives you 5% off each purchase at the register, this discount which was $69 had to be used on a future purchase within the next 60 days. That's not good! So, I went up to Best buy to use it on a fire stick which was $49 but couldn't because I had to use all $69 in one purchase. That's not good! So i found something else to buy to go over the $69 but used my Capitol one card for the difference because it gives me 2% Cash back on everything.

The 49 inch screen is a bit larger than I was planning to purchase but it fits the space I have for it, I was able to set it up by myself - Very Carefully, and it is everything I'd hoped for. The unit is rather heavy for a single person to carry up three flights but I managed it with the help of a hand truck. The instructions are clear and concise, even for this 67 year-old. The sound is quite good, although I can see how a sound bar or separate speakers might further enhance the experience as the built-in doesn't have the stereo spread that my old set had.

Picture is great and the android system is easy to use

This was our 1st large flat screen purchase & it was a toss up between the Sony & the Samsung. We loved both but the picture quality we felt in the Sony was just a little better quality & we were well aware with the Sony reputation, so we selected Sony.

Delivered on February 21st. Best Buy delivered the television and assembled it. The TV looks gorgeous in my entertainment system. It was easy to incorporate it into my system even with component and optical cables. Clear picture with nice colors and brightness. Picture excels when used with my PS4 and a HDMI connection. Still looks good when used with my Verdon Fios but the picture lacks a bit due to the component cables. Purchasing a new receiver with HDMI ports to resolve the problem. Do yourself a favor. Buy this great TV at the great price.

Coming from a loyal Sony customer. Tv quality is good, not great, is my first 4K tv have use it for a month now and had reboot the tv 4 times now. Netflix has been a big issue for me, internet services are awfull, dont get me wrong no lag beetwen menu changes but is just not what you would look on a high end tv. Another factor if you are buying one try the 55 inch it may be better fit for you

I've owned Sharp, Samsung, JVC, and few off brands. This is my 3rd Sony LCD and first 4K. Not only is the picture excellent but the many options this TV gives will negate the need for external media players if you are a heavy streamer. It has all of the big streaming services and plenty of specialized ones. YouTube works great and will offer 4K content first if available. I have not tried any of the game functions yet (Android games nor PS3 games) but plan to soon in the future. The upscale capabilities are amazing and immediately seen no matter what you are watching. You have many options for changing video but casual users will not need to adjust factory settings. The TV will recognize other media devices on your network and can stream pictures, videos, and music from them. You can connect via wireless or wired. It will also work with dual band wireless routers. I have connected Bluetooth keyboard and headset with no issues. It will also work with newer Sony receivers via Sync to control them along with Sony BD players. The only cons I have found are minor - 1) remote is infrared, would think by now BT or radio would be standard for a high end TV. 2) Sony offers a remote with a mic on it but was not included with this model which is a shame as would simplify search features (the TV has voice search capable but does not come with a native device to use that voice search however you can use your smartphone for this feature). 3) For some strange reason, if the TV becomes disconnected from the router for any reason (power outage, router reboot, etc) it will lose the network settings and have to be manually reconnected. I do not have this issue with any other media device. The bezel is so thin, you are basically looking at almost all screen which I like. My other Sony LCD is an older model and even though was 3 in smaller screen size, the TV's have almost the same dimensions due to smaller bezel. The TV is very thin and light. Easy to install on the wall and comes with many inputs (4 HDMI, several USB, and even some legacy inputs). The included remote is good (even if only infrared) and has many features. We really enjoy having the instant Netflix button (something I've had on an older Samsung model also). All in all, you cannot go wrong with this TV for the price range.

The tv was a little more than what I wanted to pay but it does have a good picture. The other plus is since it is a smart tv I don't need to buy Apple TV or Roku.

We were looking for a tv that was able to cut down on back ground noise. This Sony along with a sound bar did the trick. We can understand monologue at a lower volume now without it being drowned out by background noise and or music. Great tv!

I like this tv over all.i got a lg tv first & wish i brought the sony instead.so i put lg tv up for sale got half back went to best buy brought the sony.no picture jigging with sony like lg did.pictures is nice but i wish they made plasma tvs still with 4k .plasma was the more real picture quilty.sony to me is the best when it comes to tvs.

This tv is great. It was easy to set up and the picture quality is amazing. The main menu is a lot easier then the Samsung one I had.

Very good picture. The menu is easy to navigate, setup was simple. The smart TV features are very good & respond quickly. Love it!

We are very satisfied with this TV. The picture is unbelievable. The App selection is varied and compatible with my Android phone and tablet. There's so many features and options which makes it a great learning experience and discovering everything about this Really Smart TV. It even does a self diagnostic test to detect any issues or problems.

This is my first SMART TV. The setup to was relatively user friendly, as is the daily use. It is cool to be able to access things like YOUTUBE, NETFLIX, etc. directly on the TV screen. The TV also has 4K HD, however, there are not currently many channels/programming that allow that feature to be utilized, although I am told that more is coming in the future. The navigation of the TV features is user friendly as well.

The picture is so sharp and the color is great. It looks much nicer than the TV that we had.

I love this TV. Awesome picture. The smart tv is awesome and convenient. Works perfect. Also, I own a PS4 and it's a perfect pair.

I am truly enjoying my smart TV. It was super light weight and I was able to handle it myself from the store to placing it on my TV stand. Attaching the base took the longest. .It was incredibly easy to hook up ; attach the chords correctly ,turn it on and follow directions. The picture is sharp and fun to look at. I purchased it to watch Girls on HBO -go and I was able to binge watch it immediately. I am also enjoying Netflix and YouTube. I am looking forward to learning how to use additional features.
