Return a cheaper brand tv because of it shutting off and restarting on its own. Wanted a brand that is known for longevity. Sales associate showed me this baby on clearance, last year's model. It only has 60hz refresh rate so there is a slight motion blur on high speed action frames. Not enough to disregard this as a full function versatile 4k tv. Knowingly of Sony's reputation it should last a long time.

I bought this TV for my son to have in his room and he loves it. I have a larger version of this same TV, so that's what inspired me to get this one. He mostly plays his Ps4 on it and it has excellent picture quality. The sound is pretty decent too, but definitely add a soundbar if you higher quality sound.

I had been without a television for 5 months. I was tired of purchasing TVs that blew out exactly when the warranty expired from Walmart, so I decided to go to Best Buy. The salesperson was very knowledgeable and professional and help me beyond measure. I love my new Sony Bravia. Plus I saved tons.

This is the best tv. i love this TV from 6 months. i bought during the July 16. The picture clarity is superb and the sound is really good. i have waited to write this review to experience the quality of this TV. i would definitely recommend this tv.

I have a small-ish living room, and just replaced a Vizio 37". I thought maybe going up to the 49" would be too big but the picture is so sharp and clear that I don't need to wear my glasses.

Purchased the 49" Sony upon the recommendation of a Best Buy specialist. We are very glad we did. Although set-up was not as easy as we would have wished (not good at this). Wish we had the Geek Squad here ! The black edge is much slimmer than our previous TV, and the color is fantastic! Great TV! Would definitely recommend this TV.

We have lots of Windows and the room is bright most of the day. The picture is clear and we mounted it on the wall for easy viewing. The box had been opened so we received a discount...not a scratch or problem with it....it's perfect.

It was a little challenging to set up in general. The picture is very clear my main critique is that the background is sometimes darker than I would like even doing the adjustments optimizing the picture.Hope it lasts. Also there is a lot of glare,although I am not sure if it's the luminosity of the room

I am no videophile, however, I had done some research on budget televisions before heading up to buy one...the television I had selected was not on the floor, so I took a look at the Sony, which was on sale for $500. I always worry without doing my research... +It was easy to set up +The picture is lovely as far as I am concerned +No problems with interrupted streaming (as some reviews I looked at later mentioned) +Currently no stereo hooked up, but can easily view and listen without being completely annoyed (my Vizio has a very very tinny quality) +One bonus is the absence of a lit up brand logo like my Vizio...I Overall good experience so far, however, I am not sure I would have bought it full-price, as frugal as I am :)

Great value for the money. Crisp clear picture. TV occasionally updates and shuts down on its own without warning, but this is a minor nuisance. Overall very happy with this purchase.

I just got extremely lucky to get such a great product for such a great price!! Another good thing is that it replaced a 47" unit at exactly the same height(win/win!). It was a tight space.

This is the third Sony LED Smart TV I have purchased. Typical excellent quality picture. This new model has expanded AP search capability making it easy to watch TV without cable or satelite.
