Sony does pretty good products, and I'm most pleased with this TV. Easy setup, like the remote a lot, so easy to switch between TV stations and Netflix each time. A few apps (e.g., Acorn) were missing, so I still have to use my fire stick for these -- but no fire stick or roku needed for Netflix, amazon prime, hulu etc.

This tv is great, very bright colors and great defination.

I replaced our 42” older Sony HD television with a new Sony 49” LED X800 Series Smart 4K UHD TV. Like night and day. The Picture and Sound is unbelievable.. The color is so vivid and clear that you fill like you are there. Thanks to my salesman’s advice, Tyler, I added a HDMI cable that made the hook up to the TV and Sound Bar simple,

I also have an 55" Sony 850D. This 49" has many of the same features as the 850 series, especially the broadcast guide and voice tricks with the remote (Best Buy doesn't mention this in their online description). But the upscaling along with sharpness and color doesn't seem to match the 850's. I had the 720 series home a few days and it was way short from the 850. Sony did not have an 850 in a 49" at the time I bought this 800 and the 900 series was $1000 (the same price as what I paid for the 55" nine months ago. So I view this $750 49" 800 model as merely mid grade from Sony. (still not a bad place to be).

Easy to setup, easy to install on wall and easy to integrate with Comcast Xfinity remote. No complaints here and great picture.

This TV is worth the price for the quality of the picture! And I love the size I got and glad I went with the salesman‘s recommendation. I am a true novice about setting up electronics, but with a few phone calls I was able to do it myself. My only recommendation is that Sony figure out a way that I only have to use one remote.

I purchased this Sony TV after my Visio TV died after 11 years. After considerable research, I had decided on an LG, which seemed to be the best for the money. Only after I went into Best Buy and observed the LG next to th Sony did I see the difference in the picture color and quality. The Sony far exceeded the LG.

My (32 year old), son loves his new Sony 4K television. He can't wait to purchase the XBOX 4K to enhance his gaming even more. I will be purchasing the 4K for my self very soon the images are crystal clear even on standard television imputs. This product should come with a HDMI -4K, it is not included, so make sure you grab one or two.
