    We have always had Sony TV’s and were very pleased with them, but the last two just quit working. This one was only 1 year and 3 months old and was working great one day and the next would not turn on. No one could explain why this particular model was having this problem.

    This television has not worked right since purchase. The audio does not synch up with the video. Now we have noticed a lot of channels on cable TV did not program. In talking to BB there is only a 15 day return policy and we missed that because of medical problems. We called the Geek Squad and they set up a board replacement in two weeks. I called the Ankeny Best Buy store where we bought it and was told we are stuck with it. Our only hope they will throw parts at it until they get it working.

    Open Box-Bad Idea

    I bought this TV a few weeks ago becaus I found it on an open-box deal. Unfortunately, I didn’t think to open the tv until I moved into my new office, and assumed it would be ok because it was taped “inspected by Best Buy.” That was a horrible idea, as I found the TV screen scratched in multiple places when I opened the box. I called the store and they said I couldn’t return it because I purchased it over 14 days before. Please be smarter than me, and don’t trust your local Best Buy Associates to inspect anything. I sure would have passed on “a deal” had I known the actual condition of the TV. A very expensive lesson learned.

    Less then two years old and TV has no power, remote power doesn't work and manual power doesn't work. LED will not flash. Customer support for Sony is terrible. Do not buy Sony Brands.

    Please no one ever buy this TV. I’ve been a long time Sony supporter but I’ve had it. I have never seen a more awful WIFI experience in my life. This is my second review. I don’t see my other so guessing it was deleted. But if I stop even one person wasting their money on this I’m happy. I wish I could return this awful tv right now.

    Poor quality ! Would never buy it in my whole life

    We purchase it and in six month it stopped working we called Sony and they said they don’t care !! It’s just so cheap product! We spend almost $ 1500!! And we never used it as we bought it for upstairs! The sales man from Best Buy forced us to buy it stating that it’s a great product! I will never purchase any Sony product again in my life!! Sony Companay is making so cheap product and selling really expensive and they don’t even have parts for their cheap prouducts! Really ?!!!

    The Sony Television will not stay turned off.If it sees a signal from an external source like a DVR or soundbar the unit will automatically turn back on. I will be exchanging this product.

    I am a Avid Samsung TV’s user! However, I thought I Would try The Sony Brand. I Don’t Like The Interface Opersting System. I returned the TV. I’m sticking with Samsung!

    Bought this tv and had it two week and had to take it in for repair. They could not fix it and i had to get another tv. The sound going out must be a common problem, when look of fix on line there were quite a few post.

    I bought this TV a few days ago. This TV has me hooked, listen I bought this TV knowing its not a top of the line, all the reviews for the black color is really exaggerating if you want dark blacks then go ahead and spend the money, but this is an amazing TV. The sound is amazing the quality is amazing, the Interface I love. I have this in my room hanging on wall and i have it in Cinema mode I never had a TV in Cinema mode, but this one I do and I can't complain. Usually when you read about TV calibrations the settings seem dark now i know why and i found this out with this TV. Excellent TV for the Price. IF you are going to be picky then pay a few hundred dollars more, but if you want something nice, for the price you will not regret this TV.

    Simply the BEST TV I have ever owned. The 4K UHD HDR blows away BR as I first tested a 4K disc with my Sony 4K player. Setup was easy. Once un-boxed I connected all cabling, connected to the internet via WiFi and did a software update which only took a few minutes. Navigation was user friendly and a breeze to use. The price was awesome as well. Very pleased!!!

    For a smart TV, Its incredibly slow. TV/remote lag is superiorly frustrating and normal functions like sleep timer, do not offer scheduling features to shut off, but scheduling for powering it on? Really? Its also powered by android...

    Did a lot of research on 4K TVs. This one was on the wall of my Best Buy store along with other comparable brands/models. The color on this one just popped. I have always had great performance from all my Sony electronics. I purchased the 49 inch and was amazed. I talked my dad into buying two 55 inch models. After a few minor picture adjustments, we couldn't be happier. I stream 4K movies & shows on Netflix with ease. The picture is beautiful and HDR while gaming with my Playstation 4 will take your breath away. Great TV for the price!
