Wow, never thought we'd have such a screen. The only draw back is the external power supply.

Wanted to upgrade TV in the master bedroom. Have a Sony in the den and have been very satisfied. Did not think Sony could improve picture quality but this TV is the best yet. The brilliant colors are amazing and of course the ultra HD’s picture is incredible. The voice search is also a great convenient feature. Very satisfied with this TV.

Has amazing image resolution that looks so realistic displaying on 4K, great sound & bass.

Everything that it was sold as. Picture is much higher quality than other comparable units

Loyal Sony fan. Great picture. A few oddities with the remote. You have to drill down a couple menus simply to set a timer. Seems odd. At first the setup looked daunting but it turned out to be mostly straightforward. Remote is ok.. could be easier to use. Some buttons are flush with the surface, so they are hard to locate in the dark..

I upgraded from a Sony TV that was 12 years old. The picture is unbelievable! LOVE IT!!!

Great picture quality - resolution, contrast, colors. Motion handling is fantastic, one of the main reasons I upgraded from an older model Sony. Easy to calibrate and adjust to your preferences. So far I'm using it essentially as a monitor for external inputs that run through my Yamaha sound system, so I haven't tried any of the smart features yet.

The quality is great, The Android interface is smooth and is a great match for my PS4 Pro

I bought the 55” of this TV and I liked it so much that I bought the 49” for my bedroom

We have used this TV for several weeks now and are quite satisfied with it. The picture quality is excellent. We were able to hook up our TiVo, a Sony Blu-Ray player, and an old VCR with no problem. We run sound to our old receiver via the headphone jack and the sound works fine. The Netflix button gets used a good deal and allows direct streaming of Netflix programs so we are wondering how long we will need the TiVo. One thing I discovered that might be useful to others is that the composite video from the VCR can be connected to the component video jacks on the back of the TV. The Sony documentation says you need a special cable for a VCR, but you don't--just use the component input but only connect the two sound and one of the three video inputs.

I purchased this Sony 900E TV to replace a Sony 850 that I moved to my "mancave". I thought the picture was good on the 850, but this 900E has a much better picture, with a greater depth to the scene it portrays. Blacker blacks and brighter blues are a part of this impression, but the depth that is almost 3D makes the difference

I have a 65” Sony 850D and this new 900E is considerably better than the other Sony tv.

Fantastic tv for my PS4 Pro. Great picture quality and apps that fit my need. Was debating towards the new 900F model, but I like the 900E stand better. The 4k hdr with the PS4 Pro is amazing picture quality with very vibrant colors almost life like. Games like Horizon Zero Dawn amazed me seeing how the games look on this tv.

This TV is amazing. It is unbelievably clear. I watched a few animated movies and movies with intense CGI and I never knew what I was missing before. It features many apps which make streaming Netflix, Play Station Vue, and anyone's favorite streaming services easily accessible. It is easy to use and well worth the cost.

Pros: Good overall brightness with Sony's excellent color and motion performance. Smooth color gradients must be set to high to clear up stair stepping color banding effects seen on lesser displays. Set all the motion smoothing to off, it's not needed with true 120hz motion. Extremely good daylight contrast, probably better than my OLED taking into account color gradient performance. Cons: Blooming on bright text, and objects, not enough LED zones which causes light leakage around most objects. I use this TV has my new computer monitor, if this was my main TV, light leakage at night would be unacceptable. Poor viewing angles, color shift starts immediately off axis causing light leakage to be more pronounced. 120 hz mode produces text artifacts which has to be forced via control panel. Summary: This set is not for living room movie viewing. Most of my negative comments come from watching HDR movies (Too bright washes out blacks) and OVA TV. Now when viewing directly on and watching content in full screen with no black bars this TV punches far above its weight in the daylight. Overall I would have given 3.5 if I could, 9 out of ten in daylight, 5 out of ten at night.

Although small by today's standards, this TV has a great picture and great features. I run everything through an receiver, so I don't listen to the TV speakers. This upscales everything very well - - even old TV westerns are incredibly sharp. The viewing angle is pretty good. The features and apps work well and were easy to learn.

After owning this tv for a month we are very happy. This tv has a great picture.

For the money I paid, I am very happy with the television. Colors are vivid.
