I wasn't able to get the one I wanted because it sold out so this one operates slightly different. It has an issue where the power light will come on then go off. I am ten unable to get it to come back on with my DirecTV remote. I have to get the tv remote and stand right in front of the tv to get it to come on, then it goes through the start up like it was restarted. I have turned off all the power saving features but it still does that if it hasn't been on in a few hours. Other than that annoying issue I love it.

The only reason I don't give the Sony 49" five stars is because it was not exactly plug and play.... I purchased Sony after returning a defective Samsung UHD ....What a difference... So far I'm really happy

Great picture and no judder issues.

This TV has an unbelievable picture and no judder issues with the default settings. On this 49" model you do start to loose color when viewing at an angle.

Best TV I’ve ever bought

I was skeptical at first and was nervous being this would be my first expensive tv purchase but I’ve never been happier with a tv.
