Great picture but nearly impossible to adjust.

Alas, it seems to be a 55" picture in a 49" frame. I have tried every adjustment offered and nothing works. I have contacted Sony and they don't offer much help. I need the 16:9 ratio but I can't get there. After numerous tries, I did manage to get there for a while but then a power interruption happened and I'm back out to an overflowing picture. I'm not willing to reconcile myself to the picture I get but there must be help somewhere.

Wrong specs

I did alot of research before purchasing and decided on this one. I checked and double checked the measurements of the legs or stand of this TV because my current console was only 28 inches wide and this TV wasn't going to fit on it. Under the specifications it said the stand width was 41.5", so I needed to buy a new console, which I did. Well that information was wrong, it's only 22" stand width. So now I have 2 TV consoles, Oh well, getting rid of the old one now but I do love my new Sony TV

Hard to beat a Sony TV
