It has amazing picture and I love the control of picture settings, for instance unlike some tvs where you don't have the option to turn off the global dimming setting...this one you do. Great darks, great brightness and great color. It hasn't giving me any problems yet (fingers crossed). Wish I would've grabbed another one of these for my living room instead of the samsung I got.

Very happy with it - picture is great and 'smart' features were simple to set up. Two slight gripes - the remote is easy to use but too long and thin to be ergonomic in use, and the HDMI ports are a little close to the side of the TV, making it difficult to keep them completely out of sight. That said, I'd but this again without hesitation.

Natural looking Colors and the best Smart TV UI

Very natural colors, more so than the OLED and QLED TVs. The real seller here is the Google Smart TV UI. It's excellent and easy to use and syncs seamlessly to Google Assistant. Best UI in the business. The only people who probably won't like it are iPhone users, but let's face it, who cares about them. Oh yeah, Sony does, because included with the UI is connectivity to Home Site or whatever Apple calls their "Smart Home" software.

After doing extensive research I purchased the Sony 49 800H. AND I AM GLAD I DID!! My main tv is an OLED. I was very surprised at the picture quality and motion flow right out of the box. After a few tweeks it is an outstanding picture. Make sure you dive deep in the SOUND menu and it can be improved. I have had great experiences with Sony tv's and this doesn't disappoint.

This unit is not Bluetooth headphone compatible. If that feature is essential, this unit is not for you. That's the fault of the sales staff not the TV. I did purchase a standalone Bluetooth transmitter to fill in that gap/

I was looking for a 40" TV I wound up with a 49" screen. Setting the TV up was extremely easy. Getting the unit out of the box was the most difficult part of setting this TV up. I especially like the ease of navigating the remote. Best Buys made the purchase process easy. The sales person knew the product. I was in and out is just a few short minutes. Richard

We like the intermediate size of 49". It's so easy to get swept up in buying bigger, but this is for a bedroom, so bigger wasn't better. We bought this to replace a Sony that is over 9 years old (and still going strong), so we paid a little more for quality and trust it will be a long term performer too. We're very happy with this purchase.

Great upgrade from my old 40" Sony Bravia

I wasn't sure about this TV before I bought it, because I wanted a full array tv, but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at how good the picture looks. Once you change the picture setting to custom and turn off automatic light sensor the picture is pretty much perfect. Colors are rich and bright and and I am very happy with my new tv.

Using DirecTv remote as primary and do not know TV is really off. On Sony remote the input selection is somewhat difficult to use. Outstanding picture - that's why I purchased.

Third set is good

One had a batch of dead pixels and the second one had a scratch on the screen. The exchange process is easy enough but even the third one I have now has a very small bad pixel which I thought of returning only to find out this TV is discontinued. Other than that the TV is great…sound and picture.
