this TV has a great picture if I have any complaint is the remote is hard to connect with IR blaster to my cable box it also will not let you connect to TVG

I had lightening strike my house and the bolt fried two of my Tosiba TV's, my Router, my Cable Boxes, and many other items, so we needed new TV's and we wanted to join the Smart TV Generation, so we decided on Sony on the advice of a close family friend, and boy was he right, the Sony TV was so easy to install and program and when the Cable Guy came in to replace the fried cable gear, the TV quickly recognized the gear and we were able to get the new cable boxes set up is a few clicks. Totally amazing features on this TV, now I can see Netflix shows and movies and regular channels using just one remote! I was so impressed, I went and bought a second TV and for our Living Room and probably going to buy me a Third one.

It was very easy to set-up and is so much easier to use than my old tv. The remote allows us to easily access the apps. I would recommend this tv and the quality of the picture is wonderful.

Great color, sound is good. Has all the apps would not need a separate Roku or Hulu controller. Love all the u tube videos. Would have bee 5 stares except for the flimsy stand. I have wall bracket so it did not matter.

I have had this TV a little over a month have had a great viewing experience with this Sony product. If you use Streaming Apps to view movies and shows this TV's for you. There is an app button on the remote that allows one to easily select the streaming apps. If you want to add an app that is not on the list menu you can do a search and add it. Picture is great for TV viewing and gaming. Connects great to WiFi and does not disconnect from the internet unlike my other non Sony Flat Screen TV I use to own. I give this Sony Product 5 STARS.

The TV itself is excellent, although I don't normally order online, I would liked to have talked to a sales person and compared the TVs in the store. Because of the times, curb side pick up was the only option. I probably would've chosen a larger TV if I could have seen them on display in the store.

Let me start by saying I have an 85” x900h as well as the 46” 800h. Besides the size of the televisions everything is the same except the back lighting is full array on the 900. The picture on the 800h is beautiful, but the sound leaves a lot to be desired. The 900 is the same way. It’s very hollow sounding with zero bass. I hooked up a Sonos Beam via Arc and it’s fantastic. The operating system on this TV is quick, efficient, and powerful. I previously had an LG nano 9 where this tv was, and The Sony is miles ahead of it (except for sound). I would recommend this tv to anyone for a bedroom tv, but be prepared to buy a sound bar.

Bought this TV to replace another brand which had a problem turning off at random. Paid almost $300.00 to upgrade to this TV. The resolution is better even when on “regular” HD channels on the cable. I wish the timer was 4 hours, rather than two as my wife and I watch old Western movies and I like to set the timer early. I DO NOT LIKE THE REMOTE CONTROL, however. The features and functions are fine but the remote is not back lighted and I cannot see any of the functions. I would like to have SONY send a free replacement remote with the backlight. I am very satisfied with the Best Buy personnel from the local manager to the two installers. They all did a great job.

So I was upgrading from a 32 inch Samsung to this and am glad that I did. This tv is much larger, has more HDMI's with 4 instead of 3 in which I was really lookin for more than anything and better picture quality too! The Smart features for me have worked pretty well too, no complications either. The speed of the tv is on point, I haven't had lagging issues like with other TVs. Now as far as that is concerned, I am not sure if that could be because I have a pretty good and expensive HDMI Cable or is it my Internet service. Either way, I haven't had issues, everything is working fine. I would recommend this tv.

Good picture, sound and fairly easy to set up, The only problem was after a software update the sound would not work. Took the power cord off and after plugging it in again it worked fine.

The picture quality is great- clear and crisp. I watch in the dark and did not notice any dragging pixels. The backlight is a bit bright, but I'm sure I can figure it out. The overall set up- physically I have it mounted so I don't have any shelving problems. There is a power brick to contend with because the set is so incredibly thin. The HDMI side inputs are ok, just gotta know how to wrap to hide. As for virtual setup, it took a little bit longer as it does have android apps installed and I wanted to make sure everything worked with my current wi-fi setup. Everything is good!

This is the second Sony TV in our home and it proves to be a great purchase! Easy to adapt and beautiful picture. I'm very happy with this brand and Best Buy service with install.

The item was not available in my neighborhood Best Buy but I bought it to pick up at a store a few miles away. Flawless transaction. I was informed when the item was ready for pick up (the following day) and an assistant brought it to my car. The TV is great and fits well into the bookcase. One suggestion: keep in mind that the 49" is the size of the screen but there is also the 1"frame that you need to calculate, especially when your space to place the TV in is tight. There is an option to "visually" fit the TV into the area designated for the appliance.

I've had this TV for about a month now. I received it in very good condition a couple of days after I ordered it online. Set-up was straight-forward and easy. I'm not a big fan of the legs, but they are made of metal and supports the TV well. So far I've had no problems with the TV( knock on wood! ). The picture is very nice but I only gave it 4 stars because the built-in speakers are nothing to write home about! They have almost no bass at all, but you can learn to live with it. You can always add an external home theater speaker system.

Easy set up. Picture quality is fantastic. Only knock is really with a few streaming apps that continue to stream after you exit and go to home screen. The cache gets filled on those apps and playing back or watching live will freeze after a few seconds. Clearing cache does not resolve. Restarting the TV does fix the issue. A minor minor issue on a great TV

I love this tv and i went through a lot of tvs to find this gem. Any tv or brand even it seems that could compare to this tv is only trying to catch up. This tv is true 4k and perfect picture quality with no noticeable flaws. Its like a whole new theatre experience when you have the sony 4k player and 4k movies or even blu ray. Its almost overwhelming on some scenes and it plays it all to max quality. Very happy with this tv and its truely the best way to experience high quality movies, shows, anime, and i would say games look superb also but its the one thing i havent tried yet.

I am very picky with TV's and returned a couple before settling on this one. This is a very good TV for the price and size. Dolby Vision rocks when paired with Apple TV. Sound is actually pretty decent on this TV as well. Better than i expected. Overall I would definitely recommend it and if you can get one size up from the 49" because then it is full LED as opposed to the 49" which is side lit.

Great picture. OK sound. Remote is inconvenient. It's not back lit, so your have to turn on the room light to go from TV to streaming, etc. Also has poor tactile feel.
