Sonyn is hard to beat

Bought to high end TCLs and returned them. Bought two Sony's and love them. The color is the best and the viewing angle blows away the others by a mile. Sound is just OK but that's what sound bars are for. I really liked the Roku interface on the TCL but the color was funky, motion was horrible, and the viewing angle was pathetic.

Also we went into the store and we looked at so many TVs, we had one in mind but when we saw this one the colors were bright, and the HD was great. It is android based which kind of sucks as we all the IPhones, but it works great with what we use it for. (Gaming, movies, Tv shows, Netflix) holds up to my baby boy climbing all over it.

The picture is crystal clear, but it didn't play well with my 3 year old Sony receiver that did have 4K. Some changes in the ARC system just didn't play nice. It has some goofy flaws that aren't a big deal, just an annoyance. Like when changing the input. I have to often scroll through all of them back to the one I was using to use it again. Weird. I ended up returning and going up to the 55" which I like.

I think there quality went down when they staterd making them in China. Now I'm back with sony. Not made in the U.S.A. but made in Mx. It has a great picture. The only reget I have I just wanted to buy tv with a good picture. I don't use all of the other things this tv does. I don't have internet. So I had to pay for extras that I'll never do. But this is the case with all brands.

While it is an Android tv, I had researched for capability to an Apple TV home. And I am not disappointed. I did learn quickly to simply shut off the internal Android oriented Wfi as it is needed in an Apple environment. I would give 5 stars but I have had for only a short time so I cannot speak to its durability. I did find the instructions for securing the TV to a wall even while on a stand helpful and easy to follow.
