I purchased the Sony 5-Disk CD Changer to use with a new stereo tuner in a new home where we have moved. It was for occasional use and neither of us is an audiophile expert. We are very happy with the purchase. My wife and I enjoy the system while we are doing other things in the house. The changer makes it possible for us to program a nice set of music that is perfect for background listening.

this 5 disc CD player has provided us with flawless playing time. its very simple to use and the remote control is user-friendly. I recommend this to anybody.

Great, easy replacement. Shuffle makes for more random play. Last CD player didn't...not that there was a choice this was the only CD player best buy had.

If you are like me and have hundreds if not thousands of cds then this is a good choice. It is a better machine than the unreliable Onkyo it replaced. I am recording the cds I like most via the handy usb port. While I could have spent a lot more, this is perfectly adequate and the sound quality is very good.

I'm building an entertainment center and wanted all my components to be a brand that was superior and reliable. Sony has always been an outstanding brand I could count on so when I saw this open box buy for a CD changer I knew it was a bargain and bought it. It has performed beautifully and Best Buy gave me a great deal. Trust Sony for quality and Best Buy for the best prices.

Love Sony products and this 5 disc CD changer is no exception. It plugged directly into my Sound bar and worked from the get-go. It should be noted that this changer suits my needs but it has limited connections and hook-up options. If you're considering buying this, check out the back (or the manual) and make sure it does what you want it to. Great product for me.

Can't say enough about the quality of this 5-disc CD player. It was easy to connect to the receiver and just as easy to figure out how to play.

Because this is a multi-format player (CDs, audio files) it loads CDs into memory (treats them as if they WERE audio files), which , among other benefits, lets you change CDs in the carousel while another oneis playing! This is essentially a "programmable" player, that "remembers" the choices you made, of how your music is played, the next time you tuirn the player back ON. Also, good remote control. And clear, well-organized instructions.

The CD player was easy to set up and works well. I am very satisfied with the sound quality. This is an excellent product for the price.

CD Players in general are viewed as passe but one should still have one if you have CDs. This one was easy to set up and the sound is great.

I've found this one easy to use, and of higher quality than similar models. It replaced an Insignia model that lasted only about 18 months before the power supply blew up.

Easy to set up. Easy to operate. It is a little noisy when changing CDs. The markings on the buttons on the front are hard to see if you don't have bright light.

I was looking for a very good quality CD player for my basement sound system. The features that this SONY had were more than I was really expecting (USB playback and recording). I initially didn't want to pay the big bucks for this unit, but now that I've had the opportunity to enjoy it, the bucks were well spent. Set up was so easy and the buttons on the remote controls are well thought out. This is a keeper!

I purchased this CD Player to compliment my system specifically. It really is older tech but that's what makes it great. It does what its supposed to do and no more so the system does not get confused. If I want CDs I play CDs, if I want vinyl, I play vinyl, If I want DVD/Blu Ray, Well you understand. I only use High end stuff due to simplicity and quality of the outcome
