Good picture and color, excellent upgrade to a 40" HDTV at a great price (on sale for $430).

This is our 1st Smart TV purchase, yes we still have what I call "Fat Boys" in the house. We had the TV delivered, I was a little nervous, but it arrived with no issues. Assembly was easier with 2 people. We hooked up the cable, and have no problems. Picture is great! Now we're learning how to use the Smart functions offered on the TV.

I have learned over the years to stick with Sony and that is what I did this time also! I love this TV and the price is even better!!

It’s amazing. The touch bar makes using programs like photoshop so much easier and more fun. I absolutely love it. Worth every penny.

The quality of the products picture is very good. However the smart features are lacking for a 4K tv with HDR. I would reccomend having an Apple TV, Roku, Fire Stick, or Chromecast connected to the tv for any media apps due to the lack of available apps within the tv itself. For all the annoyances from having to have a streaming device connected, the picture quality does make up for it especially at the price.

Great TV for the money! Great picture and decent sound for those of you not planning on connecting it to any sound system ( i’m not sure how anyone does this, but I know you people exist! ) I liked this TV so much that I also got one for my grandma. The giant Netflix button on the remote is easy for the non-tech savvy.

Sony - 50" - LED - 2160p - Smart TV. I was floored when I saw this TV in Best Buy. The picture is absolutely amazing. I was concerned that it would mesmerize me when I got it home and I was pleasantly surprised that it was even better than anticipated. LOVE THIS TV!

clear pic, easy to set up, good sound, lots of features

While I'm not a big fan of the Android TV platform, it is much better than the "Linux" OS on this TV. Little to no app support, everything requires a lot of navigation, and the picture adjustments don't allow a well-dialed-in picture. Plug in a satellite or cable box, adjust the picture settings to give you the best picture the TV is capable of, then change the channel. All your hard work will be for naught because you have to adjust it all over again. I would completely understand needing to make additional adjustments if I changed inputs from HDMI1 to HDMI2 (or anything along those lines). But, that isn't the situation here. In a nutshell, the TV does not have the picture processing capabilities of the more expensive sets from Sony. Once you've adjusted the picture for one particular channel, you should be all set for ALL content that comes in on that input. But, every time the channel changes, or the SHOW changes on the channel you configured, the settings have to be tweaked again. I would not suggest this TV because of the lack of quality picture processing overall. Move up to the 800E series for a MUCH better experience overall.

I have no complaints about the TV at all. The picture is great, it has all the apps available. I cannot say much for the sound, since I use an AV receiver for that. Also, I purchased a different stand, an exclusive to Best buy,. which is sturdy and gives the TV more lift. Overall, a great TV that I am thrilled with and would recommend!

The picture is clear. The remote is a nuisance. Other than that good tv for the price.

Sony is just different. From the excellent packaging to the attached handles to the outstanding picture I knew I had purchased an upper-tier product. Although this is not the level of an OLED, sitting away from the other televisions in a small room, this device delivers a pleasant experience I am very happy with this purchase.
