Nice image. Easy to set up. Acceptable sound limits

This was a replacement for another TV that had stopped working. The picture quality and sound is great. We were pleased that Best Buy gave us a Sony rather than the other brand under warranty. Good deal Best Buy--we'll buy our next one from you as well!

I purchased the tv for our beech house. It has a great picture. The remote is very easy to use. You need to use both remotes because the tv has Netflix and utube preloaded. I’m very happy with the purchase and the price was great for a large flat screen tv

I purchased this product about 4 months ago and till date I'm mesmerized by the display quality. 4K videos are super clear and pleasing to look at. However the OS seems to be quite outdated, lacks a browser. But for regular viewing, the TV works great.

My new Sony 50" is awesome. The picture is sharp. I now have easier access to Netflix and I can even listen to Pandora while hanging out at the house. This app combined with the sound bar purchase is very cool. So glad I went with Sony this time around.

I always was a big Sony guy, 1st stereo was Sony, had a Sony tube tv in 90's. While picture and sound are good as expected, the "SMART" interface it awful! It has already stopped support of Crackel, apps/channels cannot be added... the Netflix and YouTube apps often hang or lockup. I have had tv sound disappear or picture freeze on several occasions and could not even power off!! I needed to physically unplug the power core to "reboot" the TV. I expected so much more from Sony. I got my daughter a cheap Sharp with a built-in roku and she never has any issues.. Very disappointed in Sony TV.

This was my first 4k TV. I've always owned Sony products and this set continues to be the reason I stay with Sony. High quality and great service. Even though it is a smart tv, I really don't use those functions since I have it connected to a Firestick. I like how the remote can control all of my Sony peripherals.

Seems to be a good TV. Upscales the lower quality programs which come in handy when streaming in standard def due to our awful internet. Speakers are not great and for some reason it seems to have a problem sometimes matching voice to lip movement. Some say a sound bar can help but I haven't tried that yet.

Bought this primarily for children’s use in their rec room - videogamed and streaming movies. Picture and sound are very good, especially given the price. We got it on sale. Setting up the network connection directly to tv has not worked so we get to internet, Amazon, Netflix, etc through the video game consoles.

Purchased as a gift. It was what they wanted. They tell me they are very happy.

Needed to replace my 42" Visio because the HDMI board burnt out. After shopping around for different sizes and features I went with this 50" Sony. It's got amazing picture quality and the built in apps are nice. Great tv, especially for the price.

nice set but disappointed I could not install an app on this TV. I wanted to install Spectrum app and avoid having to use an additional box on a set in a bedroom. Picture is good, sound improved when I added a sony sound bar

Wanted to get a reasonable quality tv for a reasonable price and this tv accomplished it. Works great with a standard PS4. Nice sound and picture. Might have to play with display settings to maximize quality. Overall a great introductory tv for 4k.

We were limited by space and this TV fits perfectly into the opening. After reading all reviews we knew this was the TV for us. The picture is vibrant and clear and the functions exceed our expectations. We couldn't be happier with our purchase.

What made me buy this TV is that the system is a Google capable so Google apps can be downloaded on this set.

I was amazed at the difference from the last time I bought one, over 5 years ago. David walked me through all the "tech" changes and what tv's could do now. I ended up buying one of the TV's he recommended and am so Happy with it. Thanks,
